Hugo Energise by Hugo Boss

This perfume sparked my obsession with smelling good; it’s a rich fragrance. Now, at 34, it wouldn’t make sense to buy it as it’s more suited to the young, pure nostalgia. I’d still recommend it 100%.

My favourite fragrance; I still find it in some shops with old stock. Perhaps I’m clinging to a certain memory. 10/10.

Hugo Energize: masculine, fruity and everyday. I have mixed feelings. It’s a spectacular, rich scent, typical of fragrances that are no longer made, but it is limited by two factors: it’s not distinctive enough in such a saturated market today, and the longevity for the price. If it lasted more than three hours on the skin, it would be one of the best in value for money. For now, it’s for daily wear. Ideal for brand loyalists or anyone looking for a daily designer scent.

Fantastic perfume with a spicy aroma. You can detect the pepper at the start, and it remains subtly throughout the evolution. In my case, it adheres well to the skin with good longevity. Although perfumes go out of fashion, this is a classic worth buying again. Well made by BOSS. I haven’t found anything like it until today.

This scent is unique; it’s the best Hugo Boss has ever made. If you enjoy compliments, this is your summer or gym essential. They say it’s discontinued, but if you can find it, it’s an absolute must-buy.

My favourite perfume. What captivates me most is that it’s interesting, a harmony of scents. It’s fresh like a cologne, but the spicy notes electrify it; sometimes it makes the skin prickle. It’s discreet and, over time, tends towards sweetness without being cloying. I’m surprised this line isn’t talked about more; perhaps because others seek attention rather than expressing something genuine.

An exquisite, fresh and masculine fragrance. At first, a youthful citrus note dominates, giving vitality; around an hour later, the heart and base notes emerge, creating a spiced atmosphere with a touch of subtle leather. It lasts seven hours or more. The trail is approximately one metre. For the price, it feels expensive, but it’s thoroughly recommended if you like sweet yet non-cloying citrus, subtle, spicy and woody notes.

Excellent scent, bordering on perfection. It attracts female sighs by the dozen. If you use it, spray it on your clothes as it lasts much longer there; a garment stored away for a month still smelled of it. I love it; a 10 for Hugo Boss.

I love it. It’s my favourite for daytime. It has a good trail and longevity, especially for Cuba’s summer climate.

Delicious. What I love most is that it’s not a common fragrance; at least here in Guatemala, you rarely smell it or see anyone wearing it. It’s also not one that’s copied in replica shops, as people don’t recognise the scent and don’t look for it. But what a wonderful fragrance!

I absolutely love the citrus, nutmeg and pepper notes that define this; it’s a cracker despite that slightly synthetic touch. Super versatile for any weather and occasion. Lasted 6 hours on skin and 2 hours of trail. If you’re looking for something everyday, it’s worth it; I’d give it 7/10.

The scent is very classic, like Hugo Boss Sport and Casual, but the longevity on my skin is minimal: 30 minutes to maybe two hours, almost making me want to wash it off. The trail is poor; I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ll finish the bottle but won’t buy it again.

I had this as a gift and used it until the bottle was empty. It’s the only Hugo Boss fragrance I like. I find it super versatile. At a good price, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. Scent 8/10, versatility 10/10, trail 8/10 and longevity 6/10.
