  I bought several samples and tested this one with high expectations, knowing it wasn’t my style, yet the disappointment was absolute. It has nothing special about it; it’s not flat, merely conventional—the typical cheap supermarket cologne aroma. Other boring perfumes have worked well for me, such as L’instant de Guerlain, but this lacks its elegance and personality. There are surely hundreds of similar fragrances in the supermarket. It is pleasant, fresh, and clean, ideal for the pool or beach, but nothing more. I wouldn’t wear it to work; I prefer scents with character and elegance, and this has neither of those. It lasts briefly on the skin (common with fresh scents) and its trail is very faint. I tested it over several days and hours without changing my mind: it is an ordinary floral that stands out for nothing. The only good thing is the bottle, which is beautiful.

  I received samples with one of my orders. I was excited to try it, even though I knew it wasn’t my usual style, but I felt completely let down. It simply doesn’t work for me; there is nothing special about it. It’s not boring, just utterly conventional—the classic smell of cheap supermarket cologne. Unlike other perfumes that seem flat but which I’ve got so much out of (such as L’Instant de Guerlain), this lacks elegance and personality. There must be hundreds of similar fragrances in the supermarket. It is pleasant, fresh, clean, suitable for the pool or beach, and little more. I wouldn’t wear it to work; I like a scent that is elegant and has personality, and this lacks both. It lasts very little on the skin and its trail is soft, almost imperceptible. I have used it for several days and haven’t changed my mind: it hasn’t convinced me. A run-of-the-mill floral with nothing notable. The bottle, however, is beautiful.

  A great disappointment: I had high expectations, but it’s a fairly common scent, nothing special or lively. You can detect bergamot, woody notes and a slightly sweet leather, but the longevity is poor. The only redeeming feature is the bottle.

  Hello! I love it; it’s not a heavy or overwhelming scent. It’s soft and fresh. Very long-lasting, refined and elegant. The marketing is incredible and it’s worth the price.

  A warm delight and very aromatic; I can detect cinnamon on my nose. I’ve bought it several times; it’s one of my favourites, with excellent longevity and a warm, delicate yet enveloping trail. Thumbs up for this fragrance.

  I gave it away; I didn’t like it at all. When I first encountered it in the perfumerie, I liked it, but later when I started using it, I couldn’t find anything particular about it. Its scent is just… I don’t know. It’s not a perfume you can recognise by its notes; it’s very common and ordinary.

Its scent is so ‘x’ that I don’t know how to describe it. It’s not a perfume recognised by its notes; it’s very common and ordinary.

  It smells very good, but it doesn’t live up to the bottle, the brand, or the price.   I liked the opening notes, but unfortunately, this perfume has poor fixative qualities. I don’t understand why other people comment that it’s suitable for special occasions. It smells good and is pleasant, but its longevity is unacceptable; at least, it doesn’t work on my skin.

  When I bought it, I didn’t test it first, and while it smells very good, it doesn’t last on me. Moreover, it doesn’t smell different from others; it’s not special. I regret spending my money on that 🙁

  Beautiful bottle, but its aroma doesn’t do it justice. It feels citrusy, though I managed the bergamot (couldn’t handle the lemon). I like it because it’s fresh and pleasant, but as others have said, I don’t find it special enough for the high price. On my skin, it lasts at most an hour. Fortunately, it didn’t hurt too much as I got it in an exchange; I’ll enjoy it while it lasts, but… never again.

It’s a generic white citrus floral to my nose where no note seems to shine, with a very soft trail and a duration of 3-4 hours on my skin, but it sits right on the skin after the first hour. I recommend trying it before buying to avoid disappointment. As noted, the best thing is the bottle. Scent: 2/10 Longevity: 3.5/10 Sillage: 5/10 Value for money: 2/10 Versatility: 2/10 Packaging: 7.5/10 Would I buy again? No, I didn’t buy it.

Scent 2/10, Longevity 3.5/10, Trail 5/10, Value for money 2/10, Versatility 2/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy it again? No, I did not.

  The opening smells like a mix of mothballs and burnt rubber, with a blackberry jam base. It’s something bizarre I’ve never heard before, like being in a doll factory, smelling of melted plastic and the ‘new toy’ scent they add, which turns out to be blackberry. This odd scent (which has good projection) fades after about two hours, settling down to the skin as a pleasant but generic white floral with a subtle blackberry base. In total, it lasts around 10 hours on the skin. I see it as a daytime feminine fragrance for mid-season, but I can’t see myself wearing it. I’ve tried it several times across different seasons, but there’s no point: it has the most unpleasant opening I’ve ever tested (even though I’ve heard Secrecions Magnifiques is bad). It smells like pretending to be something you’re not. Boring and pretentious; I think there are better ways to spend money. Pleasant: 3/10 Interesting: 4/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 7/10

  I picked it up cheap because the bottle is a right mess, but it’s not worth paying the outrageous price for a discontinued scent. It had its moment in the past; now it smells like 2000s ingredients, a bit dated. It comes out alcoholic – perhaps I didn’t store it properly – then turns slightly citrusy and ‘champagne-like’. It’s elegant without being pretentious, suitable for everyday wear with a touch of glamour. Typical designer mix from that era. I’m not put off by it, but it’s not my favourite; what really gets my goat is that I remember it better than it is now. I idealised it as more potent and sophisticated. Perhaps we should leave memories where they are, because dusting off old things can sometimes be a disappointment…

  I managed to get it cheap second-hand because the bottle is in a terrible state, but it’s not worth paying the exorbitant current price just because it is discontinued. It had its moment in the past; now it is perhaps a little anachronistic. It sprays alcoholised, perhaps mine wasn’t stored well, then it becomes a little citrusy and ‘champagne-like’, elegant without pretension, for daily wear with a touch of golden glamour. Typical designer mix of the era. It doesn’t disgust me, it’s not my favourite; what makes me angry is that I remember it differently. I had idealised it as more potent, sophisticated and elevated. Perhaps we should leave memories where they are, because dusting off things from the past may well disappoint us…
