When it was launched, Hugo Boss was very trendy alongside Tommy Hilfiger, everyone wanted those brands from head to toe! That is why it was popular. Its era was full of fruity florals, so it met expectations well. I remember it was very similar to Oscar de la Renta’s So (which I owned), and I preferred that one above all. Anyway, it has never seemed great to me. I don’t particularly like it, not even the bottle (is it for camping?). It is a light fragrance and, as Candy Candy says, has average longevity.
It is youthful, soft, fresh and clean. I wouldn’t recommend it for evening as it is very light, but it is very versatile; it suits any activity because it doesn’t suffocate.
It’s a youthful fragrance, soft, fresh, and clean-smelling. I wouldn’t recommend it for evening wear as it’s quite light, but it’s very versatile and suitable for any activity because it doesn’t feel overpowering.
Like Tommy Girl, I think this works better as a floral-aquatic. They are very similar. It is pleasant and suitable for hot days, to avoid headaches from very intense notes.
Exquisite, I love it.
Like Tommy Girl, I believe this perfume is better classified as floral-aquatic. They are quite similar in fact. It’s a pleasant scent and ideal for a hot day, to avoid the headaches caused by other very intense notes.
I consider it quite pleasant, fresh and soft. It is not for attracting glances, but suitable for work or an interview.
I remember wearing it on a dear friend, alongside Tommy Girl, which are very similar. On her, it projected beautifully: fresh, floral, slightly aquatic yet with personality: responsible, serious, impeccable, noble and empathetic, with a touch of shyness. Although I liked it back then, I never dared to try it myself due to familiarity and not wanting to be her copy. Now that we don’t see each other as often, I tried it and, to be honest, I didn’t love it; it seemed fresh and pleasant but weak, very simple, like a supermarket deodorant. It has good longevity, lasting about six hours, but it lacks bite. It is for a girl who is too good and doesn’t want to attract attention, and apparently I have matured since then. I don’t identify with it, so I wouldn’t buy it, although it is a good perfume.
Delicious, I loved it and have wonderful memories associated with it. It is very fresh and feminine.
Super youthful, ideal for students or office wear on a daily basis. The scent is soft, delicate and fresh, perfect for the heat, though I find it more spring-like than summery. Given its youthful vibe, I wouldn’t recommend it after 35, much like Tommy Girl. 8 out of 10.
Delicious; it was one of my favourites during my teenage years. It works brilliantly for daytime, much more so than for evening.
My first perfume and I absolutely adore it!
Summer 1999, seventeen years old. Days at the beach in a bikini until the moon, nights of laughter and dancing until the sun. An explosion of energy and freshness, but with enough body to last hours. That’s how I remember this Hugo Boss. I associate it with that crazy summer, perfect for that age. It was the right choice back then. It’s discreet but noticeable. I see it for teenagers up to their early twenties. I don’t know if it’s still being made, perhaps online. For me, it’s passed, but it will always bring back those wonderful years, full of energy, love, heartbreak, beach and neon lights.
What on earth are my crazy noses thinking? Thanks to current perfumes, I’ve heard this gem. Generic in its day, but it surprised me and I couldn’t stop smelling it… Floral, youthful, fresh, neat and charming. It doesn’t have more, and perhaps that’s the key. Cheerful flowers, a touch of moss, luminous and clean, with ozonic/aquatic notes from its era and a modern twist. From when youthful fragrances weren’t hyper-sexualised. A good option for adult women who don’t want overpowering perfumes or just a cologne.
What a maddened nose the cloying perfumes of today have given me, yet this generic fragrance from its era had me sniffing non-stop. Floral, youthful, fresh, neat and charming. Perhaps its simplicity is the key: a cheerful bouquet of flowers with a mossy, luminous and clean touch, accented by ozonic/aquatic notes that give it a modern air. Back when youthful fragrances didn’t succumb to hypersexualisation. Ideal for women (including adults) who don’t want overpowering perfumes or simple colognes.
Ideal for summer, soft and delicious.
I have a miniature from years ago. It reminds me of Tommy Girl; it smells aquatic. It’s fresh and complex enough not to be boring, discreet and airy. I don’t think it’s just for young people; it’s an all-rounder without age limits. I like that the fruits are fresh and blend with flowers without being sweet. The oakmoss is adorable, giving a dry touch from the start. The base woods are soft. Longevity and trail are moderate, leaning towards short.
Fresh, though at first it smells slightly masculine due to the wood. The floral notes linger (as little as it lasts on the skin). I like it for being different: zero rose, zero green, zero sweet. It has personality, though it’s not the eighth wonder. It’s a good option for daily wear if you’re looking for something distinctive.
Exquisite. I always receive many compliments with this amazing perfume!!!
A very good perfume; I bought it because it was popular. I like it; it’s soft and fresh for everyday use.
Fresh, for everyday wear, nothing special, just another one…
With a fair bit of hype in the late 90s, it was direct competition to Tommy Girl. For those of us who were teenagers back then, it captivated us with its fresh, energetic feminine scent, becoming a youth icon for skin types where CK One just didn’t cut it. It has a blend of notes that converge into a bouquet of soft flowers, nothing too invasive. I still see it as relevant and very youthful, but for us, the former fans who are now adults, it works brilliantly as a daily fragrance—refreshing and perfect for informal summer sport.
A classic with a huge hype in the late 90s, a rival to Tommy Girl. We were captivated by teenage girls for that fresh, feminine and energetic vibe; it was a youthful icon for skins that couldn’t handle CK One. The notes blend into a soft floral bouquet, nothing invasive. I still see it as current and youthful, but it works brilliantly for adults as a daily scent; refreshing and perfect for informal summer sports.
I picked this up at 23; it was one of my first olfactory loves 🥰. I felt utterly enchanted by it 🙈. It smells fresh, floral and fruity, with a touch of creamy vanilla and soft wood. It sits well on the skin, the trail is moderate, making it ideal for hot days. I recommend it to both young and older people. It’s one of those scents I always keep coming back to 💋.
I have good memories of the Hugo Woman by Hugo Boss; my sister and I shared it, and it always received good reviews. I would like to buy it again just for those good memories. A scent can take you to so many places and times.
Seeing the bottle brings back memories of my adolescence. I adored it; they bought it for me often because I hated the creamy vanilla scent of my classmates. It was a fragrance of freshness and freedom that transported me to a sunny day. I would love to have it back in my collection.
Hello perfume enthusiasts! Does anyone know if there’s anything similar to the Hugo Woman by Hugo Boss (the cantimplora version)? I had it ten years ago, bought it in Buenos Aires, and the seller told me they would restock it. They did, but they’ve since discontinued it. I’ll be watching for replies.
Hello, perfume enthusiasts! Running through 2022, is there any perfume similar to Hugo Woman by Hugo Boss (the one with the ‘canteen’ bottle, in my opinion)? I owned it about ten years ago, bought it in Buenos Aires, and the seller, who was spot on, told me: ‘You’ll buy this again’. Said and done, but unfortunately it’s now discontinued. I’ll be keeping an eye out for your reply, just in case. Thanks.
I loved this perfume; it’s versatile and very feminine, so I’m sure many people miss it. It’s floral, subtle, long-lasting, elegant, and seductive.
I bought a mini bottle and used it all up last spring. The scent is very linear: it opens with that trendy fresh apple note from the early 2000s and then moves to a dense blend of papaya and peach. As it doesn’t last long (about six hours) and doesn’t project much, it’s ideal for the office without being too attention-grabbing. It’s a dynamic feminine fruity scent, but a bit boring and smelling of the 2000s. Pleasant: 6/10 Interesting: 4/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 5/10
I just bought it because I had it during my adolescence and found it on Mercado Libre at a good price. It’s a vintage piece that brings back many memories of that era. It smells of green apple and is super aquatic; I love it.
Finally, I have it back! I managed to find a 125ml bottle, and FELIZ is a small thing indeed. It’s fruity, ideal for hot weather, although I used it once in winter and loved it. I’m sure this time will be just as wonderful.❤️
When I was young, I went crazy for this scent: fresh, soft, and perfect for my style back then, alongside Duende and Davidoff. I couldn’t afford it, so it remained a nostalgic desire, even though the charm isn’t quite the same, perhaps due to reformulations. It remains very fresh and is a blind buy, but I found it a bit simple, short-lived, and with poor projection.
It’s fresh but fades quickly on my skin; the green note dominates while the floral elements get lost. I use it, but I’m not passionate about it; the price is too high for something like this. It leaves hardly any trail, and although it’s unisex, I don’t detect any femininity in it.
I absolutely adored this when I was twenty; it made me feel grown-up and professional. What a pity they discontinued it—the 2015 version doesn’t even come close to that fruity, aquatic freshness I loved so much. Thanks to it, I discovered the world of ozonic notes and calone. I’m dying to get my hands on it again 🙁
