Here, frankincense takes centre stage, with an acidic opening that gives it character. For the price, it’s a triumph: it smells very distinctive and doesn’t resemble anything I’ve tried before; it’s truly original.

Cheap fragrance that smells luxurious. The pyramid moves from soft to powerful with moderate projection and trail, and good longevity. It’s dark, featuring a pleasant incense that isn’t quite top quality, evoking autumn and winter rituals. Its woods and spices, with a touch of patchouli, make it very masculine. The bottle with its magnetic cap is beautiful, and since it’s not mass-produced, it’s not a huge expense.
