With the same formula as this Infinite, South America sells an Axe version of ‘Bergamot and Cardamom’. I wonder if the scent is identical and if each market sells it with different notes… that would be incredible. The Epic Fresh features a sweet and VERY realistic fruit, which surprises me; it could be bergamot or pineapple. Then the freshness fades, leaving cardamot with a touch of sweetness. All of this gives me a distant echo of the One Million line. So, I don’t detect much ‘freshness’ in it, to be honest. I think the name is poorly chosen and invites confusion. For ‘fresh’, there is the Apollo or even the Black, which are superior to this one.
In Ecuador it’s called Epic Fresh; I tried it and like it because this AXE does smell of grapefruit and cardamom, more similar to the Avon Exclusive. But this Epic Fresh is better.
I picked it up a couple of days ago. I don’t believe it resembles Aventus Absolu much, let alone Bentley For Men Intense. What it is actually very close to is Lacoste Blanc. An excellent substitute if you can’t afford the real thing. I recommend buying this Axe Epic Fresh over clones like those from Waldo’s, Mirage, EBC, etc., and dupe alternatives like Fraiche or European perfumes. It’s almost identical to Lacoste, performs just as well in terms of longevity, and the quality of ingredients and composition is comparable.
Che, I found it at the Chinese supermarket in the neighbourhood… seriously, does it really smell like that AVENTUS by CREED???
