Descripción

Invictus Parfum by Rabanne is an aromatic aquatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2024, this composition was created by Anne Flipo and Caroline Dumur. The top notes reveal a marine freshness accompanied by lavender and pink pepper; the heart unfolds a clean elegance with soap, violet leaves and myrtle; while the base notes land with the warmth of musk, the softness of cashmere and the wood of sandalwood.

  • I was going to buy it blind because it’s a ‘safe yes’, but I was disappointed trying it in store. It smells like dirty laundry soaked in purple floor cleaner. It lasts well, but it’s not worth it for the scent. 4/10.

  • Alekscmmp

I DON’T LIKE IT. It’s a simple scent with the Invictus DNA: marine notes, lavender, soap, and citrus, resulting in a powdery and sweet finish that gives me a headache. It reminds me of Kenzo Homme Marine; both give me a headache. Others love it; it’s youthful, versatile, pleasant, and simple, with perfect projection. There’s no fault, but perhaps you’ll experience the same as me. I don’t get a headache with Tobacco Vanille or Jazz Club, but I do with Invictus Parfum.

  • It’s one of the ones I like least, although the opening is good. The soapy scent it develops smells like a cleaning product (to me, like scented toilet paper, very sad). It’s not recommended for 30-degree heat or cold. I feel it lacks something in the evolution and doesn’t stand out. For those temperatures, I have perfumes with better personality.

  • YahirAlann

Smells like soap. If you don’t have a versatile one and find it on offer, it’s a bargain. Otherwise, don’t buy it.

  • I want to be direct: if you’re young and looking for something versatile for daily wear or nights out, this is your perfume. The opening is an incredible journey, smelling like gummies but quickly turning masculine and soapy. Then it evolves into something easier to wear, with that truly pleasant soapiness. It has earned me many compliments. Excellent longevity, 10/10. If you’re looking for something punchy and versatile, it won’t fail.

  • If I had to define it in one word: VERSATILITY. It works for dates, the office, a pint, or the club. Just adjust the amount and you have a clean, fresh, or potent aroma depending on the occasion. It’s a safe bet; it’s not original but delivers on performance and compliments. Don’t overdo it with more than five sprays, because like the Legend version, it’s very potent and can be overpowering. Scent 8/10, longevity 9/10, projection 10/10. Would I buy it again? Most certainly.

I got a bad batch (42691, date 2024-09-25). I bought it because I had tried it before and it projected well, but with this new batch the longevity is terrible. How can a perfume smell like skin scent after just four hours?

  • A classic masculine fougère. The opening is curious, with a spicy hint and marine notes. It then follows the classic structure but with very pleasant woods. I don’t detect any soap; it’s aromatic from start to finish. Lasts a long time and projects well. Recommended and versatile.

  • fresita55

Fresh, clean and soapy, with a slightly more mature twist than its older sibling. A rich fragrance that is nothing surprising.

Invictus Parfum by Rabanne: Rabanne has blended the best of the line to create a fragrance of pure energy. A touch of ACQUA 2016 adds a beachy freshness, like a sea breeze and salt. The soul of INVICTUS ELIXIR takes you to a Caribbean paradise with tropical flow. It’s super versatile for any season. Excellent longevity, it doesn’t go unnoticed. Renewed bottle and an overwhelming attitude. Bravo, Rabanne.

  • Carlo Mendez

Very rich daily wear perfume, clean and soapy with a sexy masculine touch. It has given me many compliments, although it’s not overly projecting; it does its job well. If you don’t want to complicate things and are looking for something easy to like but not the normal Invictus, this is the one indicated. Highly recommended.

  • I’m somewhat disappointed with this blind buy. It smells rich without a doubt, being a mix of OG + Platinum + Victory, but the longevity is really poor, especially considering it’s a parfum.

  • Ibosquec

A fragrance with unique and characteristic accords: fresh, spiced, soapy, clean, woody on the inside, with an exquisite scent and a very long-lasting trail giving tropical fruity and earthy vibes. It’s sexy, elegant, and suitable for daily or evening wear, for school, work, nightlife, or important dates. Adaptable to all seasons. It compliments, sparks, evokes feeling, emotion, and memories, leaving a mark. It feels marine and ozonic, with violet, musk, sandalwood, and cashmere very unique, as well as lavender and pink pepper; that touch of essence is pleasant. Always Invictus, go for the safe bet and be unique; more so than with heavy use, it doesn’t feel burnt, making you original as it’s the best in the line. There’s also a subtle presence of myrtle, bergamot, lime, salt, and orange, something citrusy but without being uncomfortable.

I bought this fragrance a few days ago and have a few things to say: I understand that every skin is a world, but I read comments saying it doesn’t last or project. In my case, two sprays on the wrist exploded in a 30m² office; several colleagues asked what I was wearing and it was noticeable from the other end. After three hours, the intensity drops but it’s still perceptible at one metre. Rarely does a perfume change facets so much; from the opening to the dry-down, it’s another world. It reminds me of Invictus Legend, a bit of Y EDP, but mostly I’m surprised that no one has mentioned Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme Classic; it really has a similar dry-down. In summary: a projection bomb in the first hours, a scent reminiscent of Invictus, reliable, and with a very heavy trail. If you like the Invictus line and reliable, heavy perfumes, it’s a blind buy without a doubt.

  • Van der wiel

The fragrance is good, but, like all current ones, it gets confused with similar scents. Then you don’t know if it’s BD Cobalt, Invictus Legend, or Y EDP; they all share that soapy DNA.

  • PerfumeNoob

Without a doubt, my signature and favourite fragrance. It changes according to the skin but keeps those sparkling fruity notes in a marine, sweet, fruity, and clean opening. Shades of freshness keep it as a mid-range blue fragrance. In the dry-down, it’s more fougère, but in the base it remains sweet, fruity, and sparkling, soapy with fougère vibes. It’s very versatile, though better for warmth, not extremes, but daytime heat.

  • Despuesdel8

This perfume doesn’t move me much; it smells soapy, like a grape soap, similar to Victory, but the cypress is barely felt, replaced by something unknown. It seems youthful or for a young adult for casual outings, perhaps the office, but it could smell like grape bubblegum and be weird there. It’s not suitable for the pub. From this family, I prefer Victory. Rating: 7.

  • JesusRuiz

To me, this is the best Invictus in the entire range; I’ve tried them all and this is the most versatile. It’s my signature scent; on clothes it’s endless, and on my skin it lasts until the shower, about 24 hours. It drives me crazy; it’s super addictive. It might sound soapy depending on the occasion, but for me, it’s the best so far.

  • jorgeluiscabani

Smells like clean lavender with soap, a sweet and rich scent. I would buy it again.

  • Rick Azafranado

Rich perfume, slightly heavier than the EDT. I recommend it to those who love smelling clean sheets and clothes with a marine touch. It’s classic, pleasant, and very well balanced. You don’t get overwhelmed by the scent because it doesn’t project much in the perfumery, but it works. Watch out, it’s not potent, which makes it seem more expensive than it is.

  • molletmod.73

Finally a serious, mature, and elegant Invictus. Goodbye to the smell of the classic Invictus, ergo the overly sweet bubblegum sensation, feeling 100% synthetic, (according to Flanker, sometimes more laurel, sometimes more mentholated, sometimes more marine or more vanilla-habaner, made in Puig-Rabanne). The Invictus aroma was a huge success a few decades ago. In fact, it’s already a totem of modern pop designer perfumery. Specifically aimed at young Western boys, middle class, between 16 and 30 years old (note: there are also some older ‘Peter Pan’ types who got hooked back in the day and still belong faithfully to the Invictus cult) who simply wanted a youthful, modern, attractive, molting, and seductive scent to separate them from their parents’ fougère or barber shop smell, and to help them hook up with any living creature in the place, preferably in a night club. What’s the problem with the classic aroma today? The usual one: nose fatigue from the staff, massification, nauseating wild flankering, cheap drugstore or gypsy market cloning, and massive sales success. This recent Invictus Parfum, with the eternal champion cup, redesigned and modernised now with straight profiles in its base, in its general aroma composition, has a good base from the previous Invictus Legend Flanker of 2019, for the fresh marine note (note, don’t get confused, it’s not a headstrong salty marine clone like Megamare, or some Azzaro Chrome, or some Armani AdG Profondo, or some Issey Miyake marine notes) and retro soapy, note without smelling like Mercadona shampoo or fabric softener. Here, the duo of French perfumers Anne Flipo (one of the best perfumers of the last decade) and Caroline Dumur have added nocturnality, masculinity, seriousness, elegance, maturity (for men 30-35 years and up, kids out, go for other flankers or One Million), an 80s retro touch with a contribution of lavender, violets (note it’s neither a clone nor a cheap inspiration of Dior Fahrenheit), woody notes and quite a bit of musk with the longevity and performance, 7-8 hours without problems, already customary at the Rabanne-Puig house. Pass on this Invictus Parfum if you already like another flanker, if you’re a hater of the saga, a hater of the Rabanne house (there are many), if you already have 200,000 fragrances and similar ones in your collection, if you prefer the minority, the rare, like smelling of Harley Davidson grease, Cambodian oud, Russian leather, Moroccan bazaar, the incense of the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, if you have cash to bore or if you’ve recently been blown away by the theatrical ‘waus’ and the fake, exaggerated nonsense some perfumery YouTubers let out, especially the most ‘viral’ ones, the posh-nob battalion, and logically you’ve already passed the mainstream vulgarity, populist, and you’ve turned to the weirdo niche only catchable on the internet or the 150-quid minimum niche… In those cases, NOT A CHANCE at this Rabanne chick. Rest of the world, smell it, try it, enjoy it, and judge for yourselves. Although Rabanne prices have skyrocketed in the last 5 years, this one is worth it. Did they invent gunpowder? No, that’s been invented since a Chinese guy decided to mix chemical components back in the 9th century of our era. Does it smell good? Damn right. Note, not the nasty laurel bubblegum smell of the original Invictus EDT. Recommend? Yes, try it on skin first and drop any stupid prejudices.

Invictus Parfum – This is the good one! Attention, fragrance lovers! If like me, you had doubts about the Rabanne Invictus line due to past experiences (yes, the original wasn’t exactly my favourite, I felt it was too… ‘awful’), prepare for a pleasant surprise. Invictus Parfum has arrived to change the rules of the game, and it does so in a fascinating way! This fragrance is a world of two facets, and that makes it special. Its opening is a delicious tropical explosion: imagine ripe, juicy fruits, mixed with those aquatic notes that transport you straight to paradise. It’s a vibrant, sweet yet fresh aroma that envelops you from the first spray. But here comes the curious part and what really blew my mind: the dry-down is a totally different story. While the opening has that tropical vibe, on the skin, as hours pass, some clean and super fresh notes emerge, accompanied by that distinctive touch of violet leaf. This gives it an elegance and freshness that makes you feel impeccable, almost like you just stepped out of a luxury shower. The most surprising thing is how it behaves on different surfaces: if you atomise it on clothes, that tropical opening lasts and lasts, projecting that paradisiacal vibe for hours! But if you put it directly on skin, the dry-down with that clean and violet aroma becomes the absolute protagonist. It’s as if, literally, you’d put on two different perfumes: one for your clothes and another for your skin. I thought it was such a curious and unique detail that I had to comment on it! Invictus Parfum is, without a doubt, a delicious fragrance, and in my opinion, it’s exactly how Invictus should have been from the start. My initial scepticism vanished completely. It met all my expectations and exceeded them. My final verdict: 9.5/10! For that surprise factor and for its dual personality that has conquered me!

  • It’s my second favourite Invictus: fresh, sweet, and soapy, perfect for men. It generates plenty of compliments and is super versatile, a real gem. I bought it blind in 50ml and regret not grabbing the 100ml. I tried it properly today, and with my skin moist and good pH, it lasted over 12 hours projecting like a beast; even a colleague asked if I’d reapplied at the 8-hour mark. I was blown away.

  • Reynaldo Linan

Classic Invictus but with steroids. Excellent projection and longevity. Clean fragrance with a sweet touch.

  • Canary Scent

Hello, my opinion: at first glance, it smells exquisite, like marine soap with lavender. You can tell it’s quality, nothing synthetic, it lasts a long time but isn’t invasive. Try it before buying. Best wishes.

  • Wen Mollegas

A top-tier fragrance, with that marine opening blending brilliantly with a touch of pink pepper. Then comes that clean, pleasant sensation, almost soapy, with a bubblegum nuance that adds seriousness and elegance, closing with woody notes of sandalwood and musk. The only drawback is that the projection isn’t what one might hope for; it gets a bit stagnant over time. At first, it smells elegant and discreet, but it fades quite quickly, although the longevity on skin is quite acceptable.

  • diegoarauco6

I love wearing this fragrance during the day for the office to feel like a true champion; it gives me an aura of +10,000. It’s exquisite and clean, a very refined soap that smells of metro with a sweet lavender. It’s all quality. It’s a great fragrance and certainly one to add to any collection, or if you don’t know what to buy blind, this is the safe bet.

  • This Invictus Parfum seems like absolute madness to me. I had the EDT years ago and liked it, but over time I noticed its shortcomings; still, I liked its essence. This twist is sublime. The opening is the best I’ve ever smelled. If it stayed like this forever, I’d buy five bottles at once. It’s true that it changes a bit later, and you notice the original scent mixed with this new touch, but the opening on skin is unique. I’d describe it as 30% normal Invictus, mixed with a modern take on that soapy touch of the Y EDP (even more potent here) and with the creaminess and density of Le Beau Le Parfum (without smelling like anything from that, thank God). Add good longevity and projection, and here we have a real beast that few can match in spring, autumn, winter, or summer nights.

  • carlos_reyes

Finally tried the original after hunting for clones, and what a surprise: it’s incredible. It’s a complete turnaround on the Invictus DNA, with marine and soapy touches—an exquisite composition that leaves no one indifferent, and I believe it’s the best in the line. Upon leaving, it smells sweet, almost like bubblegum, then marine, clean, and soapy notes emerge with soft woods in the base. It has everything a blue fragrance should, yet stands out above the rest; it’s an aroma I can’t imagine anyone not liking. Just a note: don’t expect anything niche or weird; it’s made to please and attract attention. ⌚Longevity: Long, 8-10 hours or more, excellent concentration. 💨Projection: Big, explosive for the first two hours, cutting above everyone, though it can be invasive if you don’t watch the sprays. 🍃Sillage: Heavy, leaving an incredible trail, standing out in both projection and sillage. I think it’s the best in my collection for performance and versatility. 😉Compliments: Plenty, it’s spectacular and youthful; it’s hard for someone not to ask what you’re wearing. ♠️Usage: It’s blue and versatile, ideal for parties or nights out where you want to be noticed; I wouldn’t use it as a daily scent, but if that’s your purpose, go ahead. If you’re hesitating to buy it, my word is it won’t disappoint. Best wishes.

  • I smell mango and very sweet. It lasts a long time, but honestly, it smells like mango to me, not soap.

  • The opening is an out-of-this-world experience; the downside is that after a few minutes it becomes a fairly normal fragrance. Still, I would buy it again.

  • First review here. Out of all the perfumes I own, niche, designer, Arab, etc., this is my girlfriend’s favourite. It smells rich, slightly soapy but pleasant. On my skin (I have the worst pH of my 30s), it projects for about an hour and a half, not reaching two hours, then it clings to the skin as a very subtle but rich scent. It’s a perfume made to please on dates; in fact, I met my girlfriend with this one. Totally versatile. To my taste, it’s the best of all Invictus, even above Victory Elixir.

  • I had very high expectations of it being ‘an Invictus three times improved’, but it stopped there. We went to try it with my partner and we found it rich but quite medicinal; it wasn’t what I imagined. It’s not bad, but I wouldn’t choose it.

  • Montoya1209

It’s a good fragrance: rich, pleasant, and fulfilling, though a bit generic. I’m almost a hater of the Invictus line; it never appealed to me or surprised me, but this is the exception. It emanates cleanliness and purity; despite having a sweet profile in a certain stage, it’s not an unpleasant sweet, but a fruity sweetness that accompanies the blue side of the fragrance.

  • If I could only keep one perfume for a lifetime, I’d choose this, not because it’s my favourite, but for its incredible versatility. I struggle to find a situation, outfit, or age where it doesn’t look good. It’s a well-masculine, polished, and dense scent, soapy like those artisanal lavender soaps from street stalls. Added to its incredible performance in longevity and compliments.

  • It’s a pleasant, sweet, and clean fragrance, though a bit generic. It follows the same Invictus DNA but is sweeter. Alongside Victory Absolu, these are my favourites from the entire line.

  • Invictus Parfum explodes with marine, aquatic, and ozonic facets, featuring a marked musky and aromatic character. It feels very soapy and talcum-like, thanks to the lavender combined with a salty woody base that gives it that vigorous identity. Personal history: It was one of my first purchases and I loved it; for a long time it was my favourite for everything, regardless of occasion or weather. Evolution of taste: However, after discovering more perfumes, my perception changed. Now I find it a bit sweet, almost cloying in certain situations. I’ve migrated towards citrus and sharp scents, seeking less density. Current verdict: Although I keep fondness for it, today I prefer other profiles. It still has great performance and unbeatable presence for anyone seeking that aquatic-sweet style, but it no longer fits what I’m looking for.

  • I own it and I believe it’s the best of Rabanne in the Invictus line. It’s too versatile, with good longevity and a fairly solid projection. I bought the 200ml bottle and it seems it will become my signature scent.

  • It’s the best Invictus with the original DNA, but improved: it’s not as sharp and the opening is spectacular. It’s a pity it doesn’t last a bit longer, but the rest of the scent is classic Invictus, just slightly enhanced. It lasts and projects massively.

  • gonzalezvertiz

Currently testing it and it’s already a hit: it smells like a deep, sweet accord, reminiscent of the original Invictus but richer, as if blending amber with fruit. Then it turns fresh and soapy thanks to the lavender, finishing with very soft wood. It guarantees compliments and is super versatile for any occasion. Suitable for all ages, though the opening is youthful due to the sweetness. The longevity is moderate right now, around 6 hours on clothes, but I’m sure it will improve with time (the same happened with Million Gold, which is now beast mode).
