Khoul de Blend Oud starts off super citrusy and fruity, then dries down to become ambered and talcum-like, reminding me a lot of Erba Pura, with vanilla and resins at the end. To me, the iris makes it very powdery and adds extra weight, leaving it more mature than I was looking for. I see it as unisex but leaning towards feminine and serious, with good longevity and a fair price. Ideal for temperate or cold climates and of good quality. In summary, the opening is rich, though the dry-down isn’t quite as much so; being a new brand, Blend Oud certainly deserves a try. Rating: 6.5/10
