I’ve had Kingdom on my radar for nearly a year, just as I started breaking my prejudice against wearing perfumes that seemed ‘for women’. I was dying to know why it cost a fortune on eBay and what lay behind that beautiful bottle, not to mention reading reviews in English. When I picked it up on offer in a Facebook group, I confirmed it’s one of the most characterful fragrances I’ve ever tried. It’s luxurious, spiced, and unique; I haven’t smelled anything like it. When I read it contained celery, I thought it would smell like a vegetable shop, but nothing could be further from the truth. I wish it lasted longer; it’s discreet but the performance is decent. The notes are hard to distinguish, but it’s spiced and woody. It’s a gem that almost no one knows about here and, unfortunately, is no longer available. By the way, the box looks like it came from ‘The Secret’, featuring the phrase ‘Pierce My Heart Again’, which adds a poetic and romantic touch to this masterpiece by Jacques Cavallier.

The first time I tried it, I was scared; it smelled utterly strange. My mother-in-law gave it to me because she didn’t like it, but it suits me perfectly. It’s incredible, different, and makes me feel great. Ugh, I’m head over heels. I don’t know how to describe it…
