Here is a spiced narcissus where the clove and black pepper are in full force. Although the jasmine is present, it takes a back seat to the strength of those spices and the narcissus. In the end, it’s a blend of narcissus, spices, and vetiver. I bought an 8ml decant, liked it, and will use it, but it didn’t conquer me enough to buy the bottle. If you’re looking for narcissuses like those in L’Interdit, you won’t find them here: the white florals are accompanied by plenty of pepper and clove.

  2. A super creamy white floral with a touch of wood. Although neroli dominates, there is a hint of yellow floral. Once it settles, the neroli becomes spicier due to the clove, without losing the creaminess of the ylang, and gains a green, woody note thanks to the vetiver. The sillage and longevity are good on my skin; it projects all day, but be careful not to over-spray as the pepper becomes too prominent and gives headaches. I think it’s a pretty, feminine floral, but don’t be fooled by the colour: it has bite and is quite mature; I don’t see anyone under 25-30 wearing this. Ideal for mid-season, day or night, to dress up without being luxurious or sexy. Pleasant: 7/10 Interesting: 7/10 Versatile: 8/10 Original: 6/10

  4. A white floral with a spicy twist, perhaps a slightly dense scent for spring-summer but with very weak projection for autumn-winter. Perhaps that ‘no man’s land’ is the reason for its lack of popularity. It’s a pity because it smells delicious and is well-balanced.

I absolutely adore this fragrance; it feels incredibly feminine and very elegant. I’m surprised it’s so little-known, to the point where there aren’t even any reviews. It’s creamy thanks to the neroli, yet not heavy enough to cause headaches; it’s soft, velvety, like a hug. On me, it develops best in good weather, in spring or summer evenings; in winter-autumn (though it can be worn), it feels a bit short-lived. The longevity and sillage are average, which is its weak point for me—not that it’s bad, but it could be better… the bottle is also delicious, simple yet very chic. I recommend it to lovers of soft florals with character and personality.
