Tubéreuse De Madras by Boucheron is an oriental floral fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2017, it was created by perfumer Christophe Raynaud. The olfactory pyramid unfolds with top notes of orange blossom, passion fruit, and violet leaves; a heart of neroli, frangipani, and ylang-ylang; and a base evoking neroli, vanilla, and sandalwood.

Ok… I arrived with different expectations, thinking it would be more aromatic, but it isn’t. However… I absolutely love it! At first (10-15 minutes), it smells very much like Datura Noir by Serge Lutens, then it reminds me a bit of Tuberosa by Miller Harris, but in the end, it has its own touch: a creamy, soft, and fruity neroli. Very feminine! I can see myself wearing it more in winter-spring. Although I only tested it on my wrist, once I apply it fresh after a shower and ready to go out, I’ll know for sure about its longevity and projection. For now, I’m giving it an advanced 10.
