L’Aimée de MDCI, Nathalie Feisthauer’s ‘beloved’, pays homage to Jacques-Louis David’s 1795 portrait of her sister-in-law, Madame Sériziat, with her child. This Louvre masterpiece, with its soft hues and the lady’s smile amidst wildflowers, inspired this fragrance that captures her sweetness and refinement. As the official website states, following her male successes, Feisthauer returns to embody that timeless charm. With notes of citrus, peach, red berries, a floral bouquet, woods, benzoin, styrax, vanilla, tonka, patchouli, vetiver, and animalic touches of jasmine, castoreum, heliotrope, and musks, it is hard not to fall head over heels for a woman wearing it. The 75ml bottle costs around €235.
