A dreamy sweet lactonic, if it weren’t for that outrageous price I’d buy it without a doubt; it’s absolutely delicious. It’s that sugary milk with cinnamon and lemon peel that you haven’t yet added rice to. BEAUTIFULLY FORMULATED. It beats other lactonics I own when eaten with chips. I desire it fervently.
I bought the perfume and tried the decant; it’s delicious and smells more masculine on me, ideal for gifting to my boyfriend and staying close to him. The opening is a hit of cinnamon with the spiciness of ginger. It’s not cloying; the vanilla balances and harmonises without standing out. I see it as perfect for evening events and winter, not for everyday wear.
I tried a decant of this and it’s a hit of cinnamon and spicy ginger with a background of nutmeg and an almost imperceptible bergamot. As it settles, a coconut milk with milk emerges, along with a bitter hint of turmeric. The iris and jasmine blend into the milky base, while the cinnamon continues to launch spicy bursts of cassia bark. All of this is wrapped in a creamy sandalwood, confirming its lactonic profile. It’s a safe purchase for gourmand lovers and totally unisex.
I was gifted a decant so I decided to try it. In its opening, it’s a hit of cinnamon and spicy ginger for the nose with a background of nutmeg and an almost non-existent bergamot; once the first phase dissipates, you find yourself with coconut milk or blended coconut with milk (not to be misunderstood) and that turmeric scent with a slight sweet-bitter touch characteristic of the root; I don’t find the iris and the jasmine seems to blend into the milk or coconut because it feels very faint. The cinnamon, not fully dissipated, gives spicy bursts of the cassia that pricks a bit. All this feels encompassed by a creamy sandalwood as @lorzastyle mentions, it’s a lactonic fragrance. Definitely if you like gourmands this is a blind buy, I see it as totally unisex.
Lattedoro is a luxurious gourmand that hides nothing: sweet, milky, and creamy with a comforting touch of talc. It smells like a guilt-free dessert, soft and enveloping. On my skin, the toasted and sweet hazelnut pastry stands out, with notes of coconut milk adding tropical warmth without being fruity. It’s a dense, powerful fragrance, perfect for winter like a blanket of freshly baked aroma; in the heat, it could become cloying. Though delicious, beware of redundancy in your collection, as it resembles many other gourmands.
Lattedoro is, without a doubt, an exquisite perfume. It’s gourmand and doesn’t hide it. From the very first moment it feels sweet, milky, creamy, and with a talcy touch that makes it even more comforting. It’s like a little dessert you could eat without guilt: soft, enveloping, almost addictive. On my skin, it clearly smells of hazelnut pastry, with that toasted and sweet background so appetising. I also notice something like coconut milk, which gives it a tropical air but without becoming fruity or bright —quite the opposite, here everything is warmth, softness, and well-worked sweetness. The composition seems very interesting and I love how it’s made. That said: I’d only wear it in winter. It has a lot of weight, a lot of density, and in warm climates it could become too cloying. But when the cold arrives, Lattedoro is like a warm blanket with the aroma of freshly baked dessert. Blind buy? It could be, but with a warning: it resembles many other gourmand perfumes, so beware of it becoming redundant in your collection. It’s delicious, yes, but not necessarily unique.
