  Between pepper and memories, Ragu opens with a rush of pink pepper that leaves you breathless. It’s sharp, vibrant, and if you’re not careful, those accompanying roots can be quite ‘pungent’. The finish is strong, almost medicinal, and from the very first moment I knew this perfume wasn’t for me. I tried to find nuances, depth, something to make me fall in love… but I couldn’t. Personally, it reminded me of the smell of a homemade ointment my grandfather used to prepare. That scent is very present in my memory and, while not unpleasant, it’s not something I’d want to wear as a fragrance. Ragu doesn’t smell bad; it simply transports me to a place I don’t want to go when I apply perfume. Sometimes, emotions and memories weigh more than the composition itself. So, with respect, this is a no for me.
