L’Encre Noire by Robert Piguet is the latest Eau de Parfum where deep woods and soft resin blend to create a masterpiece of complexity. The scent is warm and energetic, seductive yet clear, thanks to deep vanilla with hints of sage and bergamot. It’s a complex concoction of aquatic-y accord, salty bergamot, deep woods, and resins. It opens with an airy sea spray, both ozonic and earthy. While Clary sage and Palmarosa oil harmonise beautifully. The scent lingers on a warm base of sandalwood and soft vanilla. Traces of coumarin and Tonka leave a seductive, delicious trail with a tenacious dry-down lasting 12 hours on the skin and days on clothes! Incredible how it suits both women and men; I love it for chilly daytime hours. A delicious fragrance with excellent design!!!
