Green as I want you to be! The opening is super green, floral and fresh, with a refined, classic and elegant touch that reminds me of Nicole Kidman: delicate features, a woman of substance. Although it’s Chanel’s private line and that doesn’t make it spectacular, it smells good and I like it, even if it doesn’t take me by storm. In the boutique I thought it was unisex, but at the hotel I confirmed it’s for women; it’s more feminine than masculine. Ideal for casual use in hot weather due to its freshness, with a linear scent and soft to moderate projection for people over 30. The 75ml bottle costs around $170 and they give you a ceramic pendant to spray your chosen perfume on.
Green, I love you green! The opening is super green, floral and fresh, with a special touch that makes it feel refined, classic, elegant and sophisticated, as if it were for a fine-boned, high-class Nicole Kidman. Although the Chanel Privée line doesn’t guarantee it’s spectacular, it smells good and I like it, though it doesn’t drive me wild; I expected more from the exclusive offering. In the boutique it seemed unisex, but in my hotel I discovered it’s for women, so it’s more feminine. Ideal for casual use in hot climates as it’s very refreshing, with a linear scent, soft to moderate projection and longevity, aimed at people over 30. The 75ml bottle costs around $170 and comes with a free ceramic pendant to spray the perfume of your choice.
The EDT opening is magical: luminous, aquatic, fruity, and above all green. The herbal notes take charge; I detect chamomile, jasmine and sage, but there’s more. In the base, a touch of rose and melon, even though it’s not listed, it smells distinctly of melon. This blend would be a medicinal disaster in another house, but Chanel has made it elegant and fascinating through its complexity. It’s an intimate scent, perfect for enjoying on a quiet day alone. It doesn’t project beyond 30/50cm.
