It has all the DNA of L’Interdit. It’s like its night version; you can smell the coffee and the woods. I agree with the others, it smells great and lasts quite a while.
It keeps the DNA of the original but with tweaks for people over 30. Here it doesn’t smell like a young girl as it does with L’Interdit or My Way; although at first it seems very similar to My Way Intense, once it dries down everything changes. The woods and coffee come to the fore, giving the fragrance presence and seriousness.
I was expecting a classic, potent neroli, but what I smell is a sweet, sticky neroli hidden amongst vanilla and a few drops of tonka bean, even though they aren’t listed in the notes. It starts strong, stronger than other derivatives, but the intensity drops quickly to leave a clean patchouli at the end. If you like the L’Interdit line, give this a try; it shares the same DNA. For now, you can only find it at Sephora and it’s a limited edition.
