  • Starts with a touch of mimosa, but on the skin, vetiver, myrrh and opoponax take over until the end. Nard is there in the background, but the other promised notes never arrive. The quality is top-notch, like all Interdits, but to me it smells very harsh, unisex and dated. What a pity; I’ll have to wait for the next launch.

I’m a man looking for something for winter. I spent nearly an hour in London’s Duty Free trying everything; this one convinced me and I bought it. Despite being marketed as a women’s fragrance, it’s unisex depending on your personality. That’s why Givenchy chose Hyunjin from Stray Kids. It’s a perfume for cold days or dates.

  • I tried it a couple of hours ago. It starts like the classic but fruitier. I don’t sense the neroli as much. Now, as it dries down, it becomes slightly unisex; I sense a very soft leather. Delicious. Call me crazy, but on my dry skin, it smells like Bérénice by Hermès.

  • I am a man and was looking for a winter fragrance. I was near the Duty Free in London for about an hour a few days ago, trying everything. This fragrance convinced me and I bought it, despite them saying it is for women; the truth is it is unisex depending on the personality. That is why Givenchy has Hyunjin from Stray Kids as its face. Perfume exclusively for cold days or dates.

  • I tried it in the store and perceived more of the floral than the fruity. After a couple of hours, I detected a rather familiar scent… I sniffed my wrist and remembered the original Angel or Demon, before reformulation, which was my niche perfume in my 20s. I ignore whether it’s just my pH or if it truly has that inspiration. I will try it again, and if so, I will buy it without doubt.

  • I tested it quickly on a blotter and was surprised; it seemed an incredibly masculine point, like the whole line, but I still prefer the classic!

It’s delicious, ideal for evening wear and special occasions. For daily use, the first version in EDP is perfect. I don’t see this Parfum version as particularly unisex; for that, there is the Absolu, which is totally unisex.

I agree with Faroli’s review; on my skin, it is quite linear: opoponax, vetiver, myrrh, and benzoin. Perhaps as it dries down, I sense the slightly chewy neroli of the EDP and it vaguely reminds me of another perfume’s Parfum version. It’s nothing new; I’ve already smelled this before. It reminds me of Extrac, or Absolu de L’Veb, or even the Parfum of My Way; I don’t know why. I wouldn’t buy it.

I detect the same grape gum of the original, the effect of nard with pear and a sharp apple. I think the differences are subtle, such as a very noticeable toasted almond and more sweetness. As it dries, myrrh becomes apparent, another distinction. On my skin it has moderate trail and average longevity.

I sense the same grape gum aroma from the original, an effect of the neroli mixed with pear and an acidic apple. I think there are only subtle differences, such as a very noticeable toasted almond, and it’s sweeter. As it dries down, the myrrh becomes noticeable, another difference. Regarding performance on my skin, it has a moderate trail and average longevity.

  • It’s horrible, a nightmare. They sent me a 12.5ml bottle and another sample as a gift. I knew I wouldn’t like it because I hate nard; it has always upset me since childhood. This scent takes me straight back to my youth; I’ve smelled it at funerals in older ladies; it’s very serious and awful. And it never goes away, for heaven’s sake. It has all the potential to cause migraines. This scent existed before; it’s vintage, so I don’t understand the launch as a novelty. Very horrendous and difficult to endure.

  • I was gifted a 12ml sample. At first it didn’t convince me much, but a few minutes later it reminds me of L’Angels Elixir, which I adore. I’m not sure what notes they share sincerely, perhaps nard is felt in the opening and then it becomes sweeter. It has good projection for the first hour.

  • What a horror. It’s a nightmare. They sent me a 12.5ml bottle and a small sample as a gift. I knew I wouldn’t like it because I hate neroli; it makes me ill since I was a child. This scent takes me straight back to childhood; I’ve smelled it on ladies at funerals. It’s very serious and solemn, but horrible. And it never goes away, for goodness’ sake. It has all the potential to cause migraines. This scent already existed before; it’s not new. Does anyone know if it’s a reissue? I don’t understand launching it as a novelty if it’s a vintage scent. Very horrendous and hard to bear.

  • I was gifted a 12ml sample. At first, it didn’t convince me at all, but a few minutes later it reminded me of Angel Elixir, which is my favourite. I don’t know what notes they share for sure. Perhaps the neroli is noticeable at the start, then it becomes sweeter. It has good projection for the first hour.

  • I’m absolutely smitten. It smells bohemian and oriental with the elegance of neroli. It’s not for everyone; it evokes a modern Arab princess, like stepping into an exotic antique shop in distant lands.

  • I love it; it smells bohemian, oriental yet with the elegance of nard. I don’t think it’s for everyone. It makes me think of a modern Arab princess, in exotic antique shops in distant lands.
