Man Uomo by Zara

I just tried it and the first impression is that it’s a combination of notes I like. I enjoy spiced perfumes, and this is one. In the opening, I notice citrus and cinnamon with a sweet touch, very gourmand. I don’t detect pepper. Soon after, nutmeg and woods come in, and it stays there, which is good because I don’t like smelling like a cake. The gourmand effect disappears quickly, leaving the spices and woods, which I appreciate. As a proposal, it’s not bad at all, but it suffers from the same issue as the Zara ones (except Vibrant Leather): poor trail and low performance. It lasts very little, but as a daily eau de toilette, it’s not bad. After half an hour, it sits close to the skin as a pleasant base. I know Spicebomb by Viktor & Rolf, and Man Uomo resembles it in notes (cinnamon and nutmeg), but Spicebomb lasts 24 hours and justifies its price. It’s a pity that Man Uomo is so brief, but at that price, what can you expect?

It goes without saying that it resembles the 1M, 212 VIP, and similar scents, which I find heavy, unwieldy, and overused, making the aroma feel unspecial and very recognisable. However, Zara Uomo has a plus: it’s not so potent, making it more versatile (though I doubt it works in summer or heat, but for the rest of the year, day or night, it’s perfect). If you like the perfumes mentioned, you’ll likely like this too (except for the typical alcoholic opening that lasts about 5 minutes). The cinnamon stands out as it dries, along with other spices in the background, perhaps nutmeg. It has its own personality, seeming more like a variation than a pure clone. Longevity is good in cold climates: 5-6 hours with moderate projection of 1-2 hours. Sold in a pack with Zara Silver (100ml) for under £13 together, it’s not bad at all. Best regards.

I was really keen on finding something cheap and similar to One Million, but I was hugely disappointed. After my success with Zara Man Silver, I dared to buy two 30ml bottles of Man Uomo and Man Gold. Man Uomo opens violently and aggressively, with very potent cinnamon, lots of spices, and a slight citrus note; it hurts my nose. After two and a half hours, when the projection drops, it becomes more friendly and then vaguely resembles the 1M as a skin scent for a few more hours. Longevity and projection: 8. Price: 8 (only worth it in 30ml to try). Overall rating: 7.75. If you’re looking for something similar to the 1M, it could be an option, but if it doesn’t suit you, save up and buy the original. Personally, I don’t recommend it.

I bought it for my boyfriend on 14 February. I don’t know much about men’s perfumes, I only like the classic Hugo Boss, but this Zara one made me ecstatic, it smells delicious (I had to try it myself 😁 hehe). The first thing I noticed was the cinnamon, a bit strong but not synthetic; over time I identified the pepper and although it doesn’t contain lavender, I sensed a bit of it too. In short, it smells delicious. I’m eagerly awaiting Valentine’s Day to give it to him and enjoy it with hugs and kisses. I’m not sure exactly about the longevity; I went for a shower after an hour, but I think it will last around four hours. For me, as a woman and perfume lover, it’s a delight.

Perfect for a party, a night out, and all kinds of festive occasions. That said, the scent is well-worn, but fine; it smells good, which is what matters. Everyone adds certain nuances depending on their skin type and personality.

Sillage and longevity are moderate, but for the price, you can reapply without guilt, and it smells a thousand times better than those nauseating pirate copies. Perfect for a night out, a party night, and any kind of nocturnal celebration. The scent is clichéd, but it smells good, which is what matters. Everyone adds their own nuances based on their skin and personality.

Top fragrance. Although it’s a clone of One Million, it has nuances that smell better to me. It carries that classic, mature vanilla touch, reminiscent of Opium Men (I’m sure the blackcurrants are there). For the price, what it offers is incredible. I’m not a fan of the original, but I enjoy its scent, so I’d rather pay less for something with that particular twist that makes it more enjoyable.

In short, it’s the classic 1 Million at a bargain price. I wouldn’t recommend it for 2026 as it smells dated and lacks a modern edge. Longevity is average, around five hours with a trail for the first hour; you need more than seven sprays for it to last. If you like the DNA of the original, it’s worth it for the quality-to-price ratio.

Well, what can I say about this sweet fragrance… it’s very similar to One Million Privé Mandarin. The cinnamon isn’t identical but heads in the same direction; it’s very similar. It brings compliments and is much liked by young women. I would buy it again; the price is unbeatable: $16 and we’re already in 2019.

I liked its scent when I passed Zara, then I found out it was a clone of One Million that I hadn’t used. Once I bought the original, I put it aside, but when I do use it, I spray it until I’m exhausted. Aside from being an imitation, it barely lasts a couple of hours on the skin and close to the pulse.

I’m very tired of One Million and wouldn’t buy it again, but this Zara one is very similar and for three euros I got the 30ml version. Whenever I want to recall the original, it does the trick without having to spend on the real version.

Violent opening that turns subtle, a peppery scent before fading into grey. Less bright than Halloween if you stop to analyse it. Perfect for these chilly winter nights. The wood becomes present once the mandarin disappears.

I wear it a lot on normal days, but in the cold it’s good for evening. Since it resembles 1 Million, it doesn’t stand out as much. It has good longevity, lasting me eight hours with moderate projection.

Nice fragrances for autumn and spring. Longevity is perfect. I tried it in the middle of summer and it lasted eight hours. Price in Chile: $26.
