    Mandodari by Prin Lomros is a fragrance that leaves you speechless. Named after a Hindu goddess, it is crafted for a woman with character. Forget sweet or fruity notes; elegance takes centre stage here. It is pure floral, featuring a bouquet of whites resting on the house’s typical smoky, mossy base, yet calmer here, supported by an exquisite amber backdrop with labdanum, sandalwood, ambergris and civet. The floral accords are incredibly natural, thanks to the absolutes of neroli, jasmine, orange blossom and rose. If I had to highlight one element, it would be the neroli with the sweetness of champaca, but honestly, it’s unnecessary because everything smells glorious. The smoky touch, with tobacco and spices, gives it a darker, more particular character, proving it is no ordinary perfume. It is not difficult to wear, simply enchanting. That amber base with the flowers is warm and comforting. A wonder. For me, it is a high-category fragrance, in a league of its own. If you like florals, buy it. If not, try it anyway. Best wishes!
