It was the substitute for Esika Images when mine ran out. Very ladylike, very talc-like, and I think that’s what I liked about its low price. I adored it because I’ve always fancied ‘lady’ perfumes; to me, they equate with elegance, even though I wore it in my twenties.
My mother had this perfume and yes, it is very strong and long-lasting. Personally, it gives me the impression of a formal lady, but it’s not my style of fragrance.
I had it until recently because my mother couldn’t stand the sharp hit of alcohol when I sprayed it and gifted it to me. It is true that upon spraying it smells purely of alcohol, but within seconds it yields to an intense, comforting jasmine with a clean sensation. Half an hour later, the lily appears with a pleasant powdery base. It is one of the few simple scents I’ve enjoyed for that cleanliness and wearability; it has good projection, ideal for work or semi-formal occasions. It’s a pity it doesn’t last as long.
