I just tried Poême by Lancôme and can confirm it’s 90% identical to Expression, which I own at home. Neither makes a difference when sniffed, and I even think the Lancôme version edges it out slightly.

I’ve just reviewed Poême by Lancôme and can confirm this perfume is 90% identical. I tested Poême on my skin the other day, while Expression sits on my shelf; I smelled both and, truth be told, there’s no difference 😅. In fact, I find this one better than the Lancôme version.

  3. I find it unpleasant, very potent, overly powdery, and too much yellow floral. It gives me a headache; it’s the typical perfume for an older lady.

  4. It repulsed me; it smells very strong, cloying and overly yellow-floral. It gives me a headache; it’s the kind of perfume for an older lady.

  5. To me, it smells like an older woman, very cloying, like a doll in powder, slightly sweet. Ideal for winter as it’s suffocating; upon smelling it, it feels cheap but lasts.

I didn’t like it; in my opinion, it’s very strong. It smells nice, but it’s not my style.

  7. One of my favourite fragrances, only surpassed by Amour de Kenzo and Her by Narciso. It’s a soft floral, powdery scent with a touch of citrus. I’d just like them to make it a bit longer-lasting.

  9. I bought it over three years ago. Although it’s strong at first, it later becomes cloying. I wouldn’t recommend it for summer or any occasion. It’s excellent with an elegant dress for a formal outing, especially in cool weather. It’s very similar to Giorgio Beverly Hills but sweeter towards the end. I consider it elegant and suitable for women aged 40 and above. I love it, but it’s no longer sold in Puerto Rico.

  10. It reminds me of Givenchy’s Ysatis, particularly the reformulated version. Of course, it doesn’t last as long as Ysatis; however, it outlasts many similar catalogue perfumes. I like it, but I prefer it after about five minutes. Pleasant!

  12. It’s a chameleon. Its performance depends heavily on external factors. The first time I tried it on a hot afternoon, it seemed a classic, sober floral scent, far removed from trends. On a fresh outing, the aldehydes were noticeable and then it became soapy; it smelled of lilies, narcissus and jasmine, reminding me of old times in the garden of my childhood. Although the website says it has fruity notes, I didn’t detect them that day. Weeks later, upon receiving it, it smelled different: the floral accord and aldehydes remained, but now I do detect the underlying fruity notes, which give it a subtle sweetness. In the heart phase, it becomes slightly cloying and turns into something soft that evokes tenderness and delicacy until it disappears. Both its projection and longevity are modest; on me it lasted about 5 hours, the last two hours close to the skin. I suppose I’ll appreciate it more in cold weather, as I believe it allows year-round use. In my opinion, it’s predominantly feminine, timeless and for daytime use. A tranquil composition, a breath of fresh air with simple, unpretentious elegance and natural beauty; although obviously not for every occasion or taste. I don’t like to assign an age range; I think one just needs to know how to wear it. If a young girl enjoys this type of fragrance, it will offer a conservative scent with an air of romance and, on the right skin, a certain tenderness. It would be like the modern version of a classic scent that doesn’t follow trends. Suggestion: don’t let yourself be overwhelmed by the opening aldehydes; it’s not linear, it evolves.

  13. I bought it, but I never finished the bottle; I grew bored with it. It felt like a scent for an older woman. Still, it’s a good perfume.

Floral but with a creamy, delicious, youthful twist. I find it a pleasant, easy-to-wear fragrance perfect for gifting to any young girl. Ideal for daily use regardless of the weather, suitable for any occasion, and it has a distinct lipstick-like aroma.
