Brutal aroma: starts with sharp citrus and herbs, yet nothing harsh, rounded instead by a floral warmth that makes it seductive and kind. The sandalwood adds creaminess and heat. Soft but characterful, masculine and mysterious. Ideal for the office without being intrusive, or for romantic dates.

Rich yet very soft… Rosemary and lemon mark the opening with personality. Then it lowers the volume and becomes more woody; the citrus remains but is harmless. You can smell the eucalyptus, very well, but everything stays close to the skin. I see this for personal enjoyment, perhaps at home after a shower. Scent: 7/10 Sillage: 2/10 Longevity: 2/10. It’s a pity it doesn’t work so well on my skin, because truly it is a rich fragrance.

My return to Molyneux Modern Quartz Men, which I used years ago and bought again. It opens with citrus and herbs (rosemary is noticeable), but the citrus dominates before moving to a woody heart. The base notes aren’t felt because the sillage is short; after four hours, it’s left only close to the skin. It’s sober, perfect for the office and non-intrusive. The initial projection lasts about half an hour. To my taste, it’s for formal use or casual dates. It shines in the morning during autumn and spring; in summer or winter, it goes unnoticed. I wouldn’t recommend it for night due to its weak sillage, though anyone can use it if they wish. In summary: formal and casual, ideal for mild days, giving a neat impression.

The best of Molyneux without a doubt: sophisticated, for spring and summer evenings. A different fragrance. Recommended.

At first, lemon verbena, lemon and orange are noticeable. A few minutes later, fig is felt. After four hours, fig and soft woods. After eight hours, a residual musk. The opening is nice due to the lemon verbena and the fig isn’t bad, but the sillage, which starts moderate, collapses quickly to weak and close to the skin. It could be woody, but with extremely soft woods. Spring-appropriate and for daytime use. With over-application it lasted a bit more than eight hours.
