I was eager to get my hands on this GC given that MI is a perfume that I love, the urge to try it was not normal. As soon as it fell into my trembling hands, I sprayed it, wanting to check what the answer to the question nagging at me was… Will it be the same but even more potent? Will it be very different? Well, it’s the same, but different. Especially in the opening is where you notice it most; what I like about MI is its freshness, its luminosity, the colour I imagine for it is the green of fresh grass, on a bright day with a blue sky, after a night of rain. With the smell of this GR, the image that came to mind was being inside a forest on a cloudy day. It’s true that the notes are there, they are the same, it smells almost the same, but different. The curious thing is that as it dries down, the two become more and more alike, until they are almost similar, and I’m not talking about hours, but much less time. Although that difference is always there, GC ends up becoming a more concentrated version of the usual MI. Of the three, MI is fresh and playful, Absolue (perhaps the most distinct) is rather dry and woody, GC has a deeper and graver smell. As for projection, it may be less than classic MI, things of having only natural components.
