A wonderful positive find this Nautilus; I sampled it at Sillage Barcelona and it’s a distinct aquatic from what’s currently on the market. The opening is sharp with lime and bergamot on an aquatic base; after 15 minutes the bergamot almost disappears and incense, mint, and lime come to the fore. Even though I’m not a fan of aquatics, this could easily make it into my collection. The longevity and trail are beasts. If you enjoy this style, give it a try.
A great discovery this Nautilus; I tried it at Sillage Barcelona and it’s a very different aquatic from the usual ones. It opens with a zing of lime and bergamot over an aquatic base; after 15 minutes the bergamot fades and incense, mint, and lime emerge. Although I’m not a fan of aquatics, this could easily go into my bottle. The longevity and sillage are phenomenal. If you like this type of perfume, give it a try.
Citrus opening with salty touches but elegant (nothing like the saltiness of Carner Barcelona). Nautilus is a different marine fragrance with potent citrus and marine notes that evoke an idyllic afternoon by the promenade; the mint enhances the scents. Cloves and black pepper give a precise spicy touch, while nutmeg and mace join the sweet floral notes of chamomile, making it special for spring and summer (though I believe it performs better with heat). After 20 minutes, the incense appears shyly and becomes more noticeable. The presentation is sublime; the packaging and 50ml bottle are very well done, saving space without losing elegance. Longevity is around eight hours with a projection of a metre for the first hour, then it drops. Ideal for blind buying: extremely tasty, kind to the nose, and reasonably priced.
Citrusy and salty yet elegant, with none of that sheepish saltiness found in Barcelona. Nautilus is a powerful marine scent that transports you to an idyllic afternoon by the waterfront. The mint enhances everything, while cloves and black pepper add a lovely spicy touch. Later, nutmeg and mace join the sweet floral notes of chamomile, crowning it as a perfect fragrance for spring and summer (though I think it works even better in the heat all year round). At 20 minutes, the incense appears shyly and gradually gains presence. The presentation is sublime: the 50ml bottle is elegant, compact, and very well crafted. It lasts around eight hours; the projection creates a cloud about a metre wide for the first hour before fading. Ideal for blind buying: extremely pleasant, kind on the nose, and reasonably priced.
