I tried it yesterday at a perfumer’s, straight from Argentina. At first, it threw me off; it smelled odd. I’d never experienced a raspberry and cider blend before and, not being a huge fan of raspberries, I thought I wouldn’t like it. But with time, the middle notes won me over: it leaves a gorgeous caramelised floral scent. For now, it smells of red fruits – perhaps that’s just my imagination playing tricks on me due to the bottle. Honestly, it’s worth a try; if you let the first few minutes pass, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Ideal for autumn and winter evenings.
Delicious! Just like the bottle, it’s raspberry, sweet but subtle and elegant. It’s fresh red fruit that intensifies after half an hour and becomes more serious. Unlike those horrible popcorn scents, this reflects femininity and sweetness with class, for a woman of good taste who doesn’t want to smell like anyone else. Highly recommended; I had to gift it away because it was too feminine. Average longevity and good projection.
For me, Nina Rouge is Mexican Christmas in a magic bottle. I love almost everything about Nina Ricci. The top notes smell of warm, appetising and cosy fruit punch, like the kind in villages in winter. As it settles, you notice the caramel, vanilla and ginger. It’s not childish; it’s distinguished, feminine and elegant. The sillage isn’t powerful, but it’s adequate. It smells like a heart hug, like love. If kindness had a scent, it would be this. I fell in love; the balance is sublime. Scent: 10/10, Sillage: 7/10, Longevity: 7/10.
To me, Nina Rouge is Mexican Christmas bottled up in a magical, delicious vessel. I love almost everything Nina Ricci puts out, and this fragrance caught my eye. The opening smells like fruit punch: warm, appetising, and enveloping! Heaven! But not just any punch – those from the countryside that the winter wind brings to warm the heart. It was so pleasant and cosy. I admit, I couldn’t distinguish the notes at first, but it didn’t matter; the scent evokes beautiful memories. Once it settles, that’s when the caramel, vanilla, and ginger really shine through. It’s not for children, trust me; it’s distinguished, feminine, and elegant. The trail isn’t powerful, but for me, it’s just right. It smells like a heart-hug, inspiring love. If kindness had a scent, it would be Nina Rouge. I’m in love; the balance is sublime. Scent: 10/10 Trail: 7/10 Longevity: 7/10.
Horrible! They gave it to me as a gift and I don’t like it at all. The sweet scent made me dizzy; it reminds me of sweet-flavoured lollipops or blackberry liqueur. It seems childish and very cloying. I don’t know what to do with it.
Horrible! They gave it to me as a gift and I hate it. It’s such a sweet scent that it makes me dizzy; it reminds me of sweet-flavoured hookahs or blackberry liqueur. It seems like a childish, cloying scent to me; I don’t know what to use it for.
Very sweet, like an apple cake. I know it doesn’t have apple, it must be the cider and ginger. It’s tasty, though a bit cloying for me.
Nina Rouge generates varied opinions, but it’s consistent with Olivier Cresp. It follows the sweet and jovial line, less innovative. It evokes sweet doughs and cakes, needing ‘teeth for the sugar’. Unlike La Vie Est Belle, here the sweetness is better controlled; if not applied heavily, it goes unnoticed. It’s casual and concise, loaded with glucose but without exaggeration. Longevity and sillage are moderate. The bottle is disappointing: it’s vermilion and looks plastic, with a bitten apple design that adds nothing aesthetically. The Nina line oscillates between minimalist and over-designed; this one ended up in the latter category. It’s pretty, but it didn’t aspire to more.
On me, it smells of strange caramelised ginger, perhaps with a hint of raspberry. I wouldn’t recommend it because it’s extremely childish, with very short longevity and an unpleasant sweetness. A pity.
Smells like orange Sugus! A sweet freshness.
It stands out from the other Ninas. On me, it’s floral, fruity and acidic, more mature and elegant, with an air of CH. It’s rich and enjoyable, though with low sillage and longevity.
This perfume is as sweet as a dessert, but not a simple one; it has a more intense characteristic note (like a pinch of pepper) that gives it an interesting personality. It feels delicious to wear in autumn/winter, day or night. The longevity is generally good, about 5 or 6 hours, and then it becomes softer on the skin. I don’t think it’s for ‘little girls’ as some say; I believe any woman who likes it can wear it without a worry. It’s very feminine and delicious.
Sweet as a dessert, yet with a spicy twist that gives it personality. Perfect for autumn and winter, day or night. Lasts about six hours before softening. Not for ‘little girls’; any woman who likes it can wear it. Very feminine and delicious.
A Christmas present I’ve been longing for for so long ❤️. So far, I haven’t encountered a single Nina Ricci perfume I didn’t like. What a delicious aroma… super chameleon-like for any season, it feels incredibly appetising. It smells of caramelised, juicy, slightly acidic and fresh apple. Tremendous scent. At first, it comes across as a bit strong and acidic due to the cider and caramel, but after a few seconds, the sweet, juicy raspberry emerges, refreshing with the cider, and stays that way. Good longevity, as always, there’s nothing bad to say about Nina; the presentation is beautiful. I adored it; it’s super versatile: everyday wear, casual outings, dates, party nights… it suits any occasion. I’m over the moon!
The Christmas present of my dreams ❤️. Nina Ricci never disappoints. A super chameleon and appetising scent: caramelised apple, juicy and fresh. It starts with an acidic note of cider and caramel, but soon the sweet raspberry takes control. Good longevity, beautiful presentation and super versatile for any occasion. I love it!
IT DISAPPOINTS ITS LONGEVITY. Terrible, the worst 8,000 Argentine pesos I’ve invested. I’m furious because it doesn’t last an hour; any cheap perfume or imitation has better longevity. STOP SCAMMING. AND DON’T GET EXCITED, it’s the typical perfume with a raspberry scent, but with an acidic touch.
DISAPPOINTING FIXATION. Terrible; the worst 8,000 Argentine pesos I’ve invested. I’m so angry; it doesn’t last even an hour; it’s better than any cheap perfume or imitation with better staying power. STOP SCAMMING. And don’t get excited; it’s the typical perfume with a raspberry scent, just with an acidic touch. END.
At first, I perceive a caramelised apple with a slightly medicinal raspberry that gives me mild nausea. Fortunately, after a few seconds, the cider does its thing alongside the caramel and that lovely vanilla, creating a dessert: a super creamy and fresh caramelised apple thanks to the cider. I like it; it was a gift from my father. Perhaps I would buy it again, I’m not sure. I agree with Tammi95: its longevity is poor, almost an insult for a Nina Ricci fragrance at that price… in Chile, you can’t find it for less than $40,000 pesos. In summer, it lasts longer and suits well, but it can become suffocating. I wouldn’t recommend it for days hotter than 28 degrees or in humid climates.
At first it smells of caramelised apple with a medicinal raspberry that gives me nausea. Then the cider, caramel and vanilla manage to create a clean, creamy dessert. I like it; it was a gift from my father. Perhaps I’d buy it again. I agree with Tammi95: the longevity is terrible and almost an insult for a Nina Ricci perfume. In Chile it costs more than 40,000 pesos. In summer it lasts longer, but it can be stifling if it’s over 28 degrees or there’s humidity. I wouldn’t recommend it for hot days.
I love it! It came out just before Christmas and it is exactly that: a naughty Christmas apple. A raspberry-spiked apple with caramel; on me, the cider really dominates. Although the trail is moderate, I don’t mind reapplying as much as I need to because the scent is delicious.
I was very interested, but it didn’t last five minutes on my skin. Perhaps my pH didn’t work with the perfume. The scent is good, sweet and citrusy from the cider with ginger at the start, and with the dry-down the caramel is noticeable, but I didn’t perceive any raspberry. I wouldn’t recommend it for the price; in Mexico it costs 1,900 pesos and there are better options.
I love it! It’s like a sweet Christmas apple. The spiced apple with caramel and lots of cider predominates. Although the trail is moderate, I don’t mind reapplying it as much as needed because the scent is delicious.
It has my favourite notes: raspberry, ginger, vanilla, white flower and praline… and yet I don’t like it. It tells me nothing. I don’t know if the vial is defective, but it has been a disappointment. I’ll try testing it elsewhere.
I tried it with a sample and it’s one of the eau de toilettes that has caused me the most indifference. It smells very sweet, of raspberry caramel, nothing more. It has no personality or anything to highlight. It might serve for any season, but on my skin it lasts only one or two hours. It’s a pleasant little scent and nothing more.
The bottle is beautiful, but the perfume disappoints. It barely smells, it’s a white floral with raspberry and a very faint sweetness. I wouldn’t buy it again; I prefer the original.
It’s my first fragrance that leaves me totally indifferent: it’s a citrus caramel sauce with raspberry, linear and stands for nothing. Although with time it becomes more tolerable and a bit of flower shows through, I have better caramels in my collection. I’d stay with the original little apple or Luna a thousand times if I want caramel.
Reminds me of those old candy sticks with pink powder and strawberry flavour that used to be sold: it smells exactly the same. It’s pleasant but very simple, yet original and versatile all at once.
At first it smells of alcohol, then of cider and juicy apple. Afterwards, the shy raspberry, white flower and velvety ginger appear, finishing with a sweet caramel that dominates the dry-down. It’s cheerful and youthful, but too soft and generic for me. The trail is very light and barely noticeable, although it lasts around eight hours and projects better on clothes. I wouldn’t recommend it for the price or its character; it’s a forgettable little apple within the Nina Ricci collection.
I was very interested in this perfume for its notes and its PACKAGING, but it didn’t last even 2 hours on my skin. Regarding the aroma I felt an alcoholic note which I didn’t like much; the caramel and vanilla are noticeable only when it dries, at the end. Regarding projection, not even 5 minutes. I wouldn’t buy it again because it lasts nothing 😔 nor does it feel or project. What a pity, almost all the little apples are the same. If you like sweet but not cloying fragrances, this is for you.
I thought I would like it for the caramel note; the classic Ninas don’t suit me. Only Luna and Tentation because they are the sweetest. In this case I felt a somewhat sweet but super tart apple, like cider (the drink) based on apple. It doesn’t stand out in anything; it disappointed me.
It is very rich, sweet but not cloying. I like it, yes, what I don’t like is its longevity. Terrible. The packaging is beautiful.
I love its caramelised fruit scent, but it doesn’t last more than two hours… what a pity, I’ll have to manage by pairing it with a similar perfume like the Flower by Krnzo L Elixir that I have.
I had high expectations but when I applied it I felt, how to say it, little? As if I had applied perfumed water. I didn’t feel its notes; it was sweet but the longevity and sillage were extremely low, almost scarce. It doesn’t appear to have a specific note, but to me it smelled like an apple with a very soft aroma, without strength. Perhaps the sample at the perfumerie was faulty as I don’t recall a particular scent. I will try again, despite that it also didn’t disgust me.
I know this fragrance very well; I’m writing this review for the first time. This scent is for prostitutes, it screams ‘eat me!’, it is for seduction, not even for personal enjoyment, it is to grab attention. I don’t see it as innocent; it is for a Snow White or Little Red Riding Hood who wants to go out and sin, do you understand? When applied it gives a modern burlesque sensation, it calls to lust, it smells of sin without being dirty. The bottle is a bitten apple and the sin behind… don’t be offended. If Tabu by Dana was ‘le parfum pour la pute’ in the 30s, today the fashion is something edible, literally mouth-watering, like this NINA RICCI ROUGE. The first spray is a juicy, fervent green apple, then the raspberry which makes it more mature and sweet. The final dry down is a rounded caramel by vanilla. This is how I would describe it. Age range 25+. Longevity not very wide, about 3 hours? After that it lingers on skin, but if the other person comes very close to the neck they will literally bite a candied apple. Heavy application. Note that it doesn’t smell expensive, nor is it elegant or very formal.
I tried this perfume with expectations, but honestly, it doesn’t kill me. On the opening it smells very synthetic and strong, something sweet but I couldn’t decipher which note or fruit it was. Then it shifts to feeling like an apple, but rather odd.
I tried this perfume with expectations, but the truth is, it didn’t kill me. The opening has a very synthetic and strong scent, something sweet but I couldn’t decipher which note or fruit it was. Then it shifts to feeling more like an apple, but somewhat weird.
For now, no. It comes across as very tart and sharp. The vanilla fails to balance it, at least on my skin. When it dries and is about to fade, the sting that pricks my nose subsides a little and it becomes more harmonious. Still, it’s a ‘nice’ scent; I like the ginger (as a spice or infusion) and felt a pleasant reminiscence. I’ll try it again with more heat to judge it better.
Lovely and beautiful packaging, the bottle is handsome. But the scent… I like it at first, smells sweet and slightly tart. Then it settles, the floral heart emerges and becomes slightly powdery without losing the tartness. It reminds me of older ladies’ perfumes. I like it, but if it didn’t evolve this way it would be different. I haven’t tried it on skin, but I suppose it would last an hour and a half. I’ll stick with my Luna by Nina Ricci.
What a pity Nina Ricci keeps losing its way with this release. It opens strong, sweet and tart: no apple, just sensual raspberry wrapped in cider, liquorice adding body. Then the gardenia appears, but timidly, as ginger maintains the spicy tone. Medium longevity and acceptable sillage. Up close it is sensual and seductive. Not worth it in heat or during the day due to its heavy opening. If I can, I’ll buy Extra Rouge or Rouge Crush; the bottles are gorgeous.
