Descripción
Olive Wood & Leather by Maison Label is a Leather fragrance designed for men and women. Launched in 2020, this composition was created by perfumer Angela Ciampagna. Its top notes of caramel, saffron, and lemon (sour lime) unfold a warm and citrusy opening. The heart reveals the elegance of sandalwood, Gurjum balsam, and cedar, while the base settles on a woody and resinous foundation of vanilla, oud wood, labdanum, and vetiver.

A very pleasant fragrance, ideal for those seeking something soft and elegant. The perfect option for everyday wear or the office. It features a very subtle leather note, green, creamy, powdery, with a hint of fruit. Reminds me a bit of Aventus in style and performance. What I like most is the combination of saffron and vetiver. Performance is moderate and its personality quite classic. Scent: 8, Longevity: 7, Projection: 6, Value for money: 6, Versatility: 10, Originality: 6, Overall: 7.5.
Brilliant fragrance. More masculine than unisex. It smells different from the rest, Ormonde Man style: clean, sophisticated and with character. Plus, its longevity and projection are outstanding.
Excellent perfume. More masculine than unisex. Smells different from the others; it’s like Ormonde Man: clean, sophisticated, and with character. Furthermore, its longevity and projection are outstanding.
Neither Aventus nor Ormonde Man. It’s a very subtle and one of the most elegant leathers I know. I would consider it despite not liking leather much. The leather is noticeable here but it’s very well blended with green notes and a touch of saffron.

My cousin Luis loves it and wears it for everything, even when cycling in tight lycra shorts… This frag is brilliant. The leather is very subtle and soft, nothing of a screw or skunk smell, quite the opposite. The aromatic side takes you to unfinished places. It’s a treat, I agree with Luis.
From the very first second, the opening surprises you: a sweet caramel clashes with spiced saffron and a sharp lemon. It’s a bright, bold start that plays with sweetness without being cloying. Then, in the heart, things become denser: sandalwood, cedar, and Gurjum balsam give a resinous, warm texture. On the dry down, the skin smells of oud, vanilla, vetiver, and labdanum, with a dark, warm, slightly powdery leather. It’s a refined yet daring fragrance, for people who know what they want and prefer detail over flash. It has the staying power to last and the elegance to make no fuss. If you put it to music, it sounds like Ligeti or Wasilewski’s jazz; in colour, it’s an old olive amber, between burnt honey and noble wood, serious but with soul.
