Om by Centauri Perfumes is a spicy oriental fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2021, this signature composition from the house was created by a perfumer who has masterfully selected a complex sensory palette. The top notes unfold with Thai Oud, Indian Nard, and Frankincense, also known as Olibanum, establishing an exotic and spiritual tone from the very first moment. The heart of the fragrance reveals a harmony between patchouli, juniper berries, pink pepper, lavender, ginger, and a distinctive touch of smoke, creating a warm and enveloping atmosphere. Finally, the base notes settle into a deep and seductive foundation formed by Peru Balsam, Ambergris, Algalia or Civet, and Musk, ensuring a lasting and memorable projection.

If you love dark, almost gothic fragrances, this one is interesting. It’s resinous with smoky woods, but only slightly. The base is a bit heavy with an indistinct animal note that adds depth. It has a vibrant tone between balsamic and peppery; if they claim it contains cumin, I believe them, because it smells somewhat dirty and dark, with a creamy undertone. Perhaps it’s not the brand’s longest-lasting scent, but decent enough to wear. It’s far from a powerhouse. For cold, dark days, it’s very evocative. People with strong personalities will find it charismatic and magnetic. Those who enjoy pleasant juices might find it quite challenging.
