It has a green note that doesn’t sit well with the sandalwood, which should be the star but isn’t. I was looking for something sweeter with a more prominent amber, but it’s not like that. It’s a curious contrast between the warmth I expected and that fig leaf freshness. It’s a pity it doesn’t last as well as they usually do with this brand.

Tried it today and it’s hard to rate. Santalamore’s quality is top-notch, but the scent isn’t for me. It starts lovely: fresh fig with a creamy, powdery acacia. As it dries down, the sandalwood and ambergris make it feel animalic and acidic on my skin, which doesn’t convince me. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s subjective; it reminds me of a moisturiser. It’s brilliant for fig and ambergris lovers, but it’s not my thing. Rating: 8/10 overall.

  3. Tried it today and it’s hard to categorise. Santalamore’s quality is top-notch, but the scent just doesn’t work for me. It starts lovely: fresh green fig with creamy, powdery acacia. As it dries down, the sandalwood and ambergris turn animalic and sour on my skin, which I don’t find appealing. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s subjective; it reminds me of a moisturiser. Brilliant for fig and ambergris lovers, but it’s not for me. Rating: 8/10 overall.
