  I reviewed this badly before, but I retract that. It’s not easy; at first it smells of cresol or mentholated. But in the dry down it has a rare beauty: violets and leather in a powerful harmony with a touch of sweet orange. It’s a rare perfume, I recommend it for experienced noses.

  It’s a sweet, gourmand and warm winter fragrance that dries down to remind you of Black Opium. It has moderate sillage and lasts 2-4 hours, ideal for casual use and cold weather. It’s suitable for those over 15. Its ingredients and cane sugar alcohol give it a special distinction; Oriflame perfumery is usually natural and nothing synthetic.

  It has a gourmand vibe, but it’s not like Black Opium because here leather stands out instead of coffee. It smells of lots of leather with something powdery, perhaps lilac or musk. I like it because it’s not overused, it’s different, winterly and gourmand. I give it an 8/10.

  I’ve had this for years and it didn’t convince me at first; it had a strange, mentholated, sweet touch. But then I discovered that my favourite gifts, Devotion and Celeste, smelled of burnt plastic and synthetics to me, which gave me nausea. Out of curiosity, I mixed them with On The Edge to get rid of those nasty notes. Magic! When combined with Celeste, the annoying note disappeared and left a delicious sweet violet. The same happened with Devotion. Now it’s one of my favourite perfumes.

  I get complimented on this scent all the time; it sounds just like ‘La Vie Est Belle’ 🥰
