A Quorum blend by Paco Rabanne with a touch of Giorgio Beverly Hills, strictly for vintage lovers. It lists nine notes, yet I detect thirty. It marries maturity with a violent edge, something today’s youth would not tolerate; for me, it is rich and deep, with a mentholated hint, perhaps thyme. A fragrance for few, and I am one of those who enjoys returning to childhood as an adult over forty. I like it for nights, for enjoying oneself fresh from a shower, a purely personal pleasure.
A blend of Quorum and Paco Rabanne with a nod to Giorgio Beverly Hills, just for vintage lovers. Although it lists nine notes, I can smell thirty. It marries maturity with something violent, something today’s youth wouldn’t last. To me, it’s rich and deep, with a mentholated touch that I believe is thyme. A perfume for few, and I am one of those who enjoys returning to childhood as an adult over forty. I wear it for nights, to enjoy lying down fresh from a shower, the true personal indulgence.
I LOVE IT ❤️ This is one of those fragrances that, although I am a fan of the original Paco Rabanne and Kouros, bears a reminiscence of the long-gone Charles Jourdan Un Homme. Only this Roger & Gallet version features tobacco. Fresh and strong, with seven hours of longevity and moderate projection. I would have bought it blind rather than a decant. One of the best I have smelled this year. Still available at a good price.

It seems launched in 1982, with a strong citrusy, aldehydic and lavender opening. Super eighties. In my opinion, the dry-down is much better; the lemon softens and remains a combo of lavender, tobacco and a very subtle vetiver. Range: plus forty years, summer nights. Edit: Hours later it’s Halston 1-12.
