It starts with a dirtier touch due to the cardamom, which smells very crisp and realistic. After 15 minutes, that note disappears and it launches into a sweet journey (I suppose they’ve boosted the vanilla) and feels more complete than the EDP; if you thought it couldn’t be improved, you’ll be surprised. In the air it’s delicious, but when it settles on the skin, you notice that dirty animal trail from the musks and other notes (I think there’s patchouli) to give that ‘oud’ accord. The smoky feel has also softened due to this sweet weight, and the dry-down is more pleasant and ‘easy’. It’s just as potent.
