Descripción

Pêche Mirage by Guerlain is a fruity floral fragrance for men and women. This creation, launched in 2025, is a new addition to the house's collection. The nose behind this composition is Delphine Jelk. The top notes reveal a vibrant duo of peach, blackcurrant and saffron; the heart unfolds with the elegance of osmanthus; while the base notes land on a warm and sophisticated foundation of leather, amber and sandalwood.

I didn’t like it. It is simple, brash and a shame for a house like Guerlain, creator of masterpieces such as Shalimar or Mitsouko. It reminds me of a leather shop with peach air freshener and sticky blackcurrant syrup. I am a great lover of leather in fragrances and do not see it as masculine or unpleasant, but here it smells synthetic and plastic, as if they used cheap air freshener to imitate real leather. I detect no flowers or other notes apart from peach, leather and blackcurrant. The peach is acidic, the blackcurrants sweet, and that leather is synthetic. All ingredients have a cheap, unrefined quality; they are rough and crude to the nose. I don’t believe it is a good composition from any angle. I would not recommend it. If a product from the best line fails so badly, I wonder what awaits the commercial market.

  • It’s a wonder and has become my signature, simply my favourite. It is simple, sensual and very striking. At first, it smells of peach, very faithfully, and as it dries down it transforms into a sweet, soft leather. It’s a peculiar combination that is enchanting. The issue is that the peach-on-leather combo doesn’t suit everyone, as for many it evolves into something synthetic or sour; for me, blessed with a love for fruity and gourmand scents, they sit perfectly and shine in all their splendour. Many will say they don’t like it because they can’t achieve that combination on their skin, so the ideal is to test it before buying. It is my most praised perfume, a Guerlain gem.

  • It genuinely caught me off guard; judging by the pyramid, I expected something fruity, but it turns out to be leather. Yes, there is a touch of peach, but it’s like saying Oud Maracudja smells of fruit—it doesn’t. The peach is there, especially at the start, but what dominates is the leather. It’s not an overwhelming leather; I don’t like those that smell like the inside of a car or a market bag in Marrakech; this is much more refined, although it is still leather. I liked the blend; it doesn’t drive me mad, but it has certainly convinced me.
