Too rich!!!!, fresh, sweet, citrusy… what a pity it lasts so little on my skin!
I don’t usually like roses, so this wasn’t the fragrance I would try… but with a small sample I have discovered it. On my skin it smells like very good roses accompanied by cinnamon and citrus. It is true that the trail is scarce and the duration moderate, but I think it is worth its price. Subjectively, it seems elegant and discreet. For formal daytime events or a day in the office… It is a good floral scent, soft and that stands out a bit from the sweet fruity scents that so many people carry, among whom I include myself. Feminine, nothing invasive… it has surprised me for the better. Possibly I will buy it at some point.
The love I have for this perfume is indescribable, I summarise it with: IT MAKES ME HAPPY!! What pleasure I feel perceiving its aroma. I have the habit of using it on my night shifts; as I move around I perceive it under the horrible COVID equipment and it fills me with peace. It is a beautiful, warm, fresh scent, a hug of love. In its first minutes you are filled with roses and citrus, but as hours pass it becomes creamier, amber and woods predominate, but always with flashes of roses. This perfume was one of my first ‘blind buys’; I had terror of its top note, the rose, I always put it in the place of ‘grandma smell’, but I took the plunge anyway and what luck. What a wonderful surprise I got! It has enormous longevity on my skin and an important trail in the first hour. I think it is ideal for any occasion, both for work and to conquer on a date. I super recommend it!!!
After an hour this perfume leaves a trail of clean amber, I suppose due to the musk, wonderful. The only thing I could criticise is the intensity: it is soft at the start, stays soft and ends soft, always right up against the skin. I adore it, but if anyone knows a similar version that is more intense, welcome!!!
Alicia asks how long eternity lasts, and the White Rabbit says sometimes just a second; that line from my favourite book fits this beautiful perfume perfectly. I never like to talk about ‘hidden’ perfumes, but this one is undervalued, hidden under rugs and dust. Why? Marketing, or wanting to go against the trend of the year, and above all what I call ‘rosaphobia’ 😂😂😂. Yes, I detect that many men see it as a feminine note (there is no gender in perfumery, that was a commercial invention) and women as an old lady’s smell. I have it, yes… along with two other A. Basi initially marketed for men. And hey, I love it, yes chic@s. On my male skin it performs perfectly on luminous spring-summer days and heat. When I wear it, its top, heart and base notes are well defined but very short, almost blending together to finish in a scent that as a whole is freshly cut roses, very green, fresh, with an undeclared slightly metallic note that makes it very fresh and cool. It could be what we call an ‘olfactory accident’ due to the combination of declared notes, but… what is it? For me it is or feels like that, at least. The green part is as if you cut the stems of the same🌹and bring your nose to the edge, have you done it? And everything happens in a second, as the White Rabbit said, but caramba troops, sometimes that… that is also an ‘eternity’ ☺ isn’t it? Or it marks us positively for a long time. Said that, it performs brilliantly giving optimal 7 hours with 2 projecting and a moderate trail (doesn’t require more). Just one but: BE CAREFUL WITH THE FLORAL CAP. If it falls it bends and doesn’t fit very well in the bottle so NEVER grab the bottle (which is heavy) unless by the glass itself! You will avoid shocks! 🙃🙃🙃. In summary: Guys, dare to try perfumes like this, forget who they are intended for and see how they behave on your skin, simply. I understand the bottle repels any man but the important thing is the JUICE and how it suits you, right? Or if not, look at the TOY BOY by Moschino for men. That is a bloody super childish teddy bear and by the way, a perfume of mature spiced roses with a tamarind smell and there you have what it has become with so much hype. And that one is veryyyyy complicated and not for everyone, unlike this Basi proposal. This one is completely jovial and luminous to smell fresh and different. Greetings!
