  Rose Saltifolia smells quite good and is well-balanced, though it isn’t quite my usual style. It is a fresh, beachy rose, yet very clean. It carries a hint of Acqua di Sale, but less salty and less algal; it has a sweet undertone and a ‘purified’ marine air that grows as it dries. It captures the sensation of the coast beautifully, even evoking innocence, as if it were your first time meeting the sea, slowly turning you into an expert. I see it as more feminine and it would suit a woman perfectly in warm climates, offering good longevity for informal occasions. I was pleasantly surprised and recommend it wholeheartedly for a try. Honestly, I don’t have much experience with feminine fragrances, so I can’t pinpoint a similarity, but it is a wonderful scent. Rating: 8/10

  Marine, algae, or boiler-room scents usually upset my stomach, but this is an exception. Although the rose takes time to emerge, it eventually appears and softens that sharp marine note, making the fragrance wearable (though the floral aspect remains in the background, somewhat drowned out by the salt and seaweed). There is a citrus element that adds a luminous touch. I would never wear it as I prefer a darker rose, yet I understand its charm; it could be a top choice for summer when finding something that isn’t heavy is difficult.

  Maison Crivelli gifted me this intricately crafted rose. It smells like a flower growing beneath the water, achieving the impossible: rose notes blended with salt, a hint of seaweed, and dry, dusty woods reminiscent of the seabed. Everything is superbly integrated, maintaining the quality we’ve come to expect. The longevity is exceptional: it lasts over 10 hours on my skin and leaves a trail for 4 or 5 hours without issue. In short, an original, unisex, and beautiful marine rose.
