A hidden gem that flies under the radar with its low profile, yet plays with neroli in a super original way to create a masculinised floral, perfect for dressing up without any fuss. It has a subtle aquatic base, woody vetiver and a dusting of cardamom that give it a dark yet light touch, while the creamy heart of neroli and mandarin mixes everything deliciously. It’s both dark and cheerful, luminous without being a cologne, and dark without being leather with orange blossom; something new with classic notes, hard to find these days, of high quality typical of the house and very well made. Bravo, it’s a marvel!
What a lovely surprise this fragrance has been for me. It’s like putting on a foreign film you’ve never heard of, stumbling across it on Netflix one Sunday, only to discover it’s a masterpiece. The same thing happened with Oud Cadeza; they sent me samples, and Neroli Nasimba was among them. Usually, I’m not a big fan of neroli, and since it’s in the name, I left it in the drawer. One day, I did a tasting of forgotten decants, and there it was! OH MAMA MIAAAA (with an Italian accent). What a wonder! It’s leather with neroli, super pleasant and sexy. Fresh, with personality and distinctiveness. A real gem. If you can, grab a tester and try it; you won’t regret it. I’ve already added it to my wish list 😉
