Descripción
Oud Cadenza by Maison Crivelli is a woody oriental fragrance for men and women. This creation, launched in 2024, is signed by perfumer Jordi Fernández. Upon its release, the composition unfolds a spicy and warm explosion featuring saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, and pink pepper. The heart reveals an exotic and sweet fusion where dates, oud wood, caramel, sugarcane, incense, Amberwood, myrrh, and Davana give way to an intense and seductive base. This final note settles over Madagascar vanilla, cocoa butter, tonka bean, leather, benzoin, musk, patchouli, labdanum, and yerba mate.

A magnificent gourmand, an authentic sweet delight, spiced and warm like a honeyed almond, rich and intoxicating. Avianilled, creamy, pompous and ambered. Behind exquisite, lickable and chewable layers lies a sweetened oud wood, resinous incense and a tiny touch of gentle leather. I have nothing but praise; it is extraordinary. Performance is adequate, not a beast but it asks for nothing more. A flagship of strength and endurance. It is noticeable without being overwhelming, though it lasts less than I’d wish, because if it were up to me, it would always smell like this. Oud Maracuja or Oud Cadenza… they are very different, I couldn’t choose, I need both. XDD. Age 25+, adult scent, unisex but leaning masculine. Cool or fresh climate. Scent 9.5/10, longevity 8.5/10, duration 8-9h, projection 9/10, versatility 7/10, price $$$$ . Final score 9/10.
A wonderful gourmand, an authentic sweet delight, spiced and warm like a candied almond, buttery and intoxicating. Vanilla-infused, creamy, pompous, and ambered. I have always heard well of Maison Crivelli and this brew exceeded my expectations. With it, I feel like Scheherazade: excessive, lustful, a feast for the senses. Complex, faceted, dense, changing, better for fresh weather. Fastuous like a Klint painting. You taste hot and sweet spices, tempting sweetness (almost savouring dates), resins, vanilla and delicate oud… a madness.
I’ve always heard good things about Maison Crivelli, and this concoction exceeded my expectations. Wearing it makes me feel like Scheherazade: excessive, lustful, a feast for the senses. Complex, faceted, dense, and ever-changing; it suits cooler weather best. It’s as sumptuous as a Klint painting. You taste spicy and sweet notes, a tempting sweetness (almost tasting dates), resins, vanilla, and a delicate oud… quite madness.
Intense leather, not wild but rustic and like worn harness leather. It’s dressed up with dates, caramel and a divine creamy amber. In dry-down it leaves a layer reminiscent of Babycat, slightly smoky vanilla leather. Performance is spectacular and my office colleagues loved it. I wouldn’t buy the bottle myself, but no leather fan should be without a decant.
Ugh, this is an absolute bomb and, to be honest, mind-blowing for me as someone who isn’t usually into gourmands. It opens spicy, vibrant and peppery, with a huge impact in the room and a sweet, almost smoky base. Spices, spices, spices… The opening promises a lot and the sillage is incredible. So many spices that blend brilliantly, making it clear this will be a bomb and a gourmand. Gradually, the gourmand side gains depth without being cloying. There’s something resinous, caramel, and creamy leather, with that smoky touch still present. I love it because it’s never a typical cloying gourmand; with so many notes, it’s more about sensations than being edible. It’s a true perfume. However, its composition means usage is quite limited. In terms of weather, it should be cold, and sometimes perhaps not for the office. It suits me for dinners, formal settings or something elegant. It’s unisex and has nuclear performance in every way. A beauty, with the only negative being a lack of versatility and price. In short, it’s a masterpiece.
Ugh, bombshell and mind-blowing, although I’m not usually a gourmand wearer. The opening is spicy, vibrant and peppery, with a lot of impact and a sweet, almost smoky base. Plenty of spices that shine together, clearly marking it as a gourmand bomb. It gradually gains body without being cloying; there’s resin, caramel and creamy leather, with a slight smoky touch. I love it; it’s about sensations, not edible. I’d limit its use to cold weather, dinners or formal settings. Unisex, nuclear performance. A beauty, less versatile and pricey, but it’s brilliant.
Part of the oud trilogy, and it’s a surprise. It smells of clean, deep oud with sweet and spicy notes; dark, elegant, warm and alluring. The good: a brilliant blend, spectacular performance (over 12 hours) and a perfect balance between gourmand and woody, feeling luxurious. The bad: a high price, not very versatile and only suitable for cold weather or special occasions. Worth it if you like dense, characterful fragrances. One of my favourites from the brand.
Thank goodness I managed to get a sample; the Arabic dupe felt like a kick to good taste. This fragrance is another world: the oud, saffron and incense are perfectly balanced with dates and sweet notes, a perfect combination. The longevity and trail of Crivelli are from another planet. Now I need the full bottle.
Thank goodness I managed to get a sample; the Arabic dupe felt like a kick in the teeth to good taste. This fragrance is in a league of its own: the oud, saffron and frankincense are perfectly balanced with dates and sweet notes, a flawless combination. The longevity and projection from Crivelli are out of this world. I now need the full bottle.
It’s brilliant, the scent is exquisite and both longevity and projection are sublime. A tiny amount goes a long way; the sillage is incredible and it doesn’t feel expensive at all—just two sprays. Suitable for men and women, it’s my first fragrance from this brand and I’m shaking with excitement as I try the others; I think I’ll buy them all. Jordi Fernández is a real talent.
The only thing I can say is that it’s a bloody masterpiece, with an exquisite scent, sublime longevity and trail, and incredible fixations with very little product… it doesn’t seem expensive at all since you only need two sprays. I’m a woman and I find it ideal for both men and women… it’s my first perfume from the brand and, trembling with excitement, I’m already trying the others because I think I’ll have to buy them all. By the way, Jordi Fernández is a genius.
