  • It was one of those winter days searching for something interesting and striking. That’s when I saw the box with the large letters ‘SCANDAL’. I quickly ordered a sample. First impressions: I hated it, too strong, an unpleasant smell of sweet liquor with roses. I left it and looked for others, but none caught my attention. Hours later, while tidying up my room, I sensed a pleasant and exquisite trail on my arm. It couldn’t be; it was the arm where I had sprayed that perfume I so disliked. I smelled my arm for hours, wondering how a fragrance with such a strong opening could transform into a marvel. The next day: straight to the shop. At home, two sprays and wow, the evolution is tremendous. At first, a smell of liquor with roses, nothing pleasant, but within minutes it takes an interesting direction without losing impact or potency. Clean, sweet scent, between vanilla with light touches of cinnamon, creamy and woody base. Really intense; I don’t recommend more than two sprays, even I think one might be enough. I also don’t recommend using it in summer… generally, not on hot days, because its scent becomes truly scandalous (hehe, funny) and can make you dizzy or give you a headache. I love it. Its use is for outings, preferably in open spaces, perhaps dates depending on the venue. Truly a scent that goes unnoticed by no one.

  • I had been looking for a while to get my hands on this, and my goodness, I could not be happier. The scent is simple, dark, and evolves little, but it doesn’t need more; it’s addictive, sweet, and intense just as I like it. I’ve had it for 15 days and it has surprised me very well in terms of longevity and projection. On my skin, it has lasted over 24 hours, projecting strongly for 4–5 hours. I recommend it for evenings, dinners, and dates, but don’t over-spray if you don’t want to overwhelm those accompanying you.

  • I agree with the one below; of the three Scandals, this is the least cloying and repugnant. Would I buy it? Only a 5ml decant. The scent is very sweet for me, but that geranium and sandalwood give a masculine touch to the tonka bean, although it’s not the most masculine; the sweetness ruins the masculinity. There are better scents for men. Longevity: 4–5 hours (normal to dry skin). Projection: Moderate ≤1 hour (normal to dry skin). Scent: 6/10 (mediocre fragrance, cloying, but not as much as its brothers; at least it has personality). I expected nothing, but this could still be rescued from the excessively cloying and, in my opinion, repugnant reputation of the Scandals.

  • A more ‘mature’ fragrance than its EDT version. Still, it shows to the young. – Not a beast in longevity or projection, but anyone who approaches will notice a rich aroma. – Exquisite fragrance, nothing complex. – Sublime presentation (box and bottle). – High price (I recommend trying it before buying). I perceive it more for cold days and evenings.

  • Juan Pablo Gutiérrez

My favourite fragrance to vomit on if I can’t help it; disgustingly sweet but fatally addictive, 11/10.

  • There are many haters for this beauty. Compared to its brother Scandal EDT, it is slightly deeper and longer-lasting. If you don’t like cloying aromas, do not try them, buy them, or judge them, because tastes break all genres. For lovers of sweet and cosy scents, this will yield great results: it’s rich, potent to a point, and guarantees compliments. Just don’t over-spray and you’re ready to conquer the world. All Scandals have the peculiarity of being potent and sweet; the name says it all: SCANDAL. Scent 8, trail 8, longevity 9, potency 9, compliments 10. This gem is worth it; don’t let negative vibes guide you.

This is my first designer fragrance and, so far, my favourite in terms of scent (I’ve tried Versace Dylan Blue and I like it too). I perceive it as woods, caramel, and exquisite fruits. The longevity is excellent, lasting 9 to 10 hours on skin and clothes (ideal for a trail). The compliments are incredible; the first day I was overwhelmed. Would I recommend it? Yes, but I see it more for dates than for parties. If you already have a youthful, sweet, and informal scent, this might not be 100% for you, but for special events, it would be perfect.

  • I’ve been hooked on this Scandal DNA since buying Mandarin Sky, then moved on to the King of Checkmate until I could finally find a tester of this and was utterly delighted. I’m even considering buying a second bottle for replacement. I’ve only worn it a couple of times, yet it has garnered numerous compliments. It lasts roughly the same as Mandarin (6–8 hours), and at the price I paid, it seems like a great opportunity.

  • A very rich perfume! I haven’t tried the original version yet, but I understand they go in the same direction, with floral and tonka bean notes, although the Scandal EDT is sweeter and more versatile in cold climates according to reviews. I feel it’s a jovial fragrance, for cold climates due to its potency (depending on the sprays). It doesn’t leave much of a trail, but its longevity is beastly. Perfumes don’t last long for me, but Scandal Le Parfum lasted on me until I showered the next day. The tonka bean is very characteristic. It’s known that JPG uses this spice a lot; at first, the opening reminded me of Le Beau Le Parfum but without the coconut and with a floral twist. I don’t see it as a formal scent, but rather special and personal, for going out to a party or a night out. The downside is the projection, because after an hour you can’t smell it unless you get close, so it’s a personal fragrance. Another con is that it can be boring, as the scent is flat and doesn’t take any turns; the smell of the three declared notes remains continuous until it evaporates. For me? An absolute 10! For young people, for winter or intermediate seasons in the evening.

  • I can’t be 100% honest; I’m a sucker for sweet, almost cloying scents, but this is true: it’s a guaranteed compliment magnet. Wherever you are or with whom, men or women, everyone will notice that rich aroma that makes them want to know more and linger near your scent. I adore the vanilla notes, which make this my favourite. If you like things sweet, my recommendation is clear.

  • Top commercial fragrance; I use it for everything and always receive compliments. Just note that it suits a younger crowd best.

  • GiancarloVÑ

When I first bought it, I liked it, but over the days the scent became cloying to me; I decided to use it daily so it would run out quickly. Luckily it has finally finished; I would never buy it again.

  • fedemenendeez

A perfume party, though I wouldn’t buy it again; I’d go for the original EDT. The EDT and the parfum are of the same style, with an almost imperceptible difference; this one is darker, less youthful, and doesn’t have as much projection as the EDT. Personally, I like a perfume that projects and makes itself known, which the EDT does more. Regarding performance, it lasts about 6 hours on the skin with intense projection for the first hour and a half, then it starts to fade.

  • esomeprazol

Scandal Le Parfum is a very sweet and masculine fragrance; it differs from the original by being more mature. Ironically, the Eau de Toilette lasts longer on my skin (+10 hours) than this Eau de Parfum (6 hours).

  • SPH Le Parfum is what happens when the bad boy from school returns to town in a suit: he has the same ego, but now he’s wearing cufflinks. Sweet to the point of shamelessness, with that note of dark caramel and soft leather that doesn’t try to hide anything. Everything screams excess and sounds like a saxophone playing reggaeton at a formal party. It seeks to have you turn around to look, even if they don’t know whether out of desire or caution. It’s vulgar with elegance, and that’s a rare talent.

  • Felipe Ignacio Flame

What this new version promises is to fix the EDT’s flaw: the dry-down. The EDT dries down too much into a unisex, slightly feminine scent, even reminding one of classic lady perfumes. Its opening is spectacular, but the evolution ruins the first impression. The new Le Parfum or EDP takes a darker, more masculine turn, removing that dominant endive note from the EDT. Although the EDP doesn’t have the same intense trail as the EDT, its longevity is much greater. In short, if you like the original EDT but couldn’t stand its feminine dry-down, this is the option. The EDP has a more linear and coherent evolution, without veering into such floral or feminine notes at the end. Remember that Scandal EDT comes from the base of the first version, launched for a female audience. Thanks for reading.

  • Raktnaroz

A rich fragrance; I can’t distinguish the individual notes (though I noticed a hint of sandalwood), it’s more of an intensely sweet blend. I see this for winter/autumn, evening wear, focused on gatherings or parties. The longevity and projection are moderate. Recommended given the price, I’d say it’s for people over 20, as while it’s a party scent, it has a mature touch.

  • kevinbrand

This perfume truly lives up to its name; it’s an absolute SCANDAL. The opening is super sweet, like a dessert, perhaps a bit cloying, but perfect for parties or night outs; it makes people look at you. Sometimes I think it lacks projection as it fades after 2-3 hours, but people tell me they can smell it, so I suppose it’s just olfactory fatigue. A good option for winter and evening wear.

  • SantyArjona

Ugh, this is hands down the best in the line. It’s less sweet than the original and feels more masculine. I’ve received so many compliments.

  • Tomascasiriain

Fantastic perfume, I’ve been wearing it for a year. Ideal for going out partying. It’s warm, sweet and the most masculine in the line due to being more woody and dark. Potent enough to stand out, lasts a minimum of 8 hours on skin and projects to the max for 4 hours, then fades but still throws bursts and earns many compliments. If you overdo the sprays, it becomes cloying. To those who say it’s youthful, I don’t see it well on teenagers; the wood and darkness give it seriousness. It’s for someone over 21 but not over 35. Only for cold and nocturnal weather.

  • Smelled great at first, but ultimately it generated rejection. I wore it on a date and after the kisses it became too much. It has immense potency and longevity, to the point that I ended up smelling myself.

  • I have it alongside the EDT and they are similar yet distinct. The Le Parfum is floral/vanilla/woody, whereas the EDT is citrus/caramel/vanilla/woody. Both have a herbal touch. The Parfum is more intense, with a more pronounced woody and tonka bean dry-down and a burning floral note. The original is more airy and projective. Both are caramelised youthful perfumes for parties and clubs, with that aggressive nose-vibra that gets tiring. Owning both is redundant, although either fulfils its purpose. The key lies in the mandarin of the EDT versus the creamy, warm sandalwood of the Parfum.

  • Aroma acorde

This perfume makes you feel the king of the party. It surrounds you with a 100% gourmand masculine fragrance bubble.

  • Edgar250392

Bought it blind and had another idea in mind. It doesn’t smell as sweet to me as people say; I associate it with Armani Code Parfum due to the shared tonka bean dry-down and iris floral notes. It’s a good perfume, but I prefer Armani: it smells cleaner and more powdery.

  • Perfumeslushin

If I had to define it in three words: caramel, edible and cloying. It’s not woody as claimed; it’s a full-on nocturnal perfume for dates or parties in well-ventilated places. At first, it smells rich, but if you overdo it, it makes people nauseous. It’s delicious, I love it and would buy it a thousand times over. It smells like a sweet cologne and, although it initially gives an aromatic impression, as it dries down it becomes even sweeter and that aromatic aspect disappears. It’s a perfume that makes you want to spray it a thousand times, but beware of that. It’s fascinating and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

  • What a beauty! Since I first heard it, it’s been my absolute signature. It’s undoubtedly my favourite perfume.

  • Bought the 150ml version and it’s a beast for cold nights and open-air venues. Smells exquisite, sweet yet with depth the EDT lacks. Longevity is incredible, but be warned: if you overapply it in a closed room, it gives you a headache within 30 minutes. 10/10, but only for special occasions and without abusing the sprays.

  • I’ve tried all the Scandals and this is the one I like the most. It’s super nocturnal and sexy, but the truth is, on my skin it doesn’t project as much as I expected. Longevity is good, but the lack of projection is a drawback for me, something I consider vital.

  • Excellent perfume, the best in the line for me. It’s aromatic, woody, and vanilla-based, sweet but versatile; it can be worn with few harmonisations on a mild spring day. Super rich and with 12 hours of longevity in my case. I super super recommend it for autumn and winter outings. Excellent note quality.

  • I bought it about two months ago (November) thanks to an ML offer and I must say it reminds me a lot of the ‘Le Beau’ line in the dry-down xdd (I owned Le Beau Le Parfum and Paradise Garden). To the point, it’s a rich perfume with good longevity and projection. Since I like sweet perfumes, I don’t find it cloying. I’ve gone out with two girls wearing this and the truth is they love this type of scent. Blindly recommended and 9/10.

  • Hello, gentlemen. It was love at first sniff; I didn’t think twice. It’s a unisex masculine fragrance with a very masculine dry-down. The opening floral dominates with geranium, which becomes slightly sweet thanks to the tonka bean. In the dry-down, a very defined sandalwood appears, which on my skin is almost creamy, adding depth and softness. It’s designed to be enjoyed at close range, ideal for special occasions and dates. Although it doesn’t project much forward, it leaves an excellent trail, which is its strength, with excellent longevity. Later on, I hope to buy its EDT version. If you love this perfume and are looking for another with the same masculine and elegant DNA but more versatile, I blindly recommend Uomo Signature by Salvatore Ferragamo; I use both. On me: longevity 9h, projection 2h, bubble 3h, trail 4h, sillage 1.5m (2h). Recommended for dates, formal or semi-formal events, meetings with friends and family. Not for a signature scent, clubbing, office, or sport. Recommended age: 25 years and above. 9/10, masculine, imposing and sophisticated.

  • In essence, it has similarities with the flanker EDT only in the dry-down: you remove the mandarin, lower the caramel, increase the spiciness of the tonka and the creaminess of the sandalwood. It’s elegant, sexy, seductive, attractive and far from being quiet; a wonderful journey to wear. Fortunately, and luckily, it doesn’t have the hype it deserves, so it doesn’t fall into reformulations.

  • José María G.R.

Fantastic fragrance. As a perfume lover, I’ve wanted it for some time and my girlfriend gave it to me; what a gift. It has a deceptive vibe: it seems like it will be gourmand and extremely sweet, but it settles between sweet, woody, and aromatic, with an equilibrium that few possess. It’s worn for both formal and informal occasions. I’m in love with that undeclared caramel note, so well-designed. Longevity and projection are improvable, but otherwise it’s a 10/10.

  • There is something peculiar about this perfume: it’s rich and very long-lasting. I only perceive one note, perhaps geranium, which reminds me of a bitter spot like in Estée Lauder’s Pleasures. The good thing is that in Scandal le Parfum it’s not so marked and I wear it without issues. It’s a scent bomb; I love how the tonka bean creates something creamy and rich without showing citrus, although I do perceive mandarin. I understand why they say it’s similar to Mandarin Sky Elixir; they are alike but with their own personality. I prefer Mandarin Sky, but this Scandal lasts much longer. I recommend it because it’s a very bold and rich scent.

  • The truth is, it’s a beautiful fragrance. The best part is that, being underrated, it’s not used as much as other JPG scents like Le Beau or Le Male. You will stand out and there’s very little risk of someone identifying the perfume on a date. Since I bought it, it’s my signature; I always receive compliments and they never ask which one it is until I tell them.

  • A delicious and nocturnal fragrance, perfect for cold climates; wearing this in the heat is definitely not an option. It starts very sweet, but on my skin it’s not cloying. The longevity is incredible: 8 hours on skin, projecting well for the first 4, and lasting much longer on clothes. If you like sweet scents, you definitely should own it.

  • To be honest, I don’t quite understand all the hype surrounding it. Don’t get me wrong, it smells nice and isn’t unpleasant, but I see it as a very simple scent, nothing extraordinary. I’m not sure if it’s my nose, but I don’t think it deserves the fame it has.

  • djkonablue

What a beautiful fragrance! Ideal for winter nights if you want to stand out. Be warned, olfactory fatigue is quite noticeable; by the hour you no longer appreciate it, even though people keep telling you it smells like perfume. Beware of the blast radius! 3-4 sprays are more than enough, but if you want to draw more attention, 6-7 is pure luxury.
