WOW, a real treasure for autumn and winter. Balsamic, resinous and woody… Potent notes but skillfully blended to intoxicate without overwhelming. Sexy, intoxicating and elegant.
This perfume keeps a secret that the bottle doesn’t reveal, and that’s brilliant. It’s dark, sexy and dense: an oriental from head to toe, woody, resinous with a sweet touch. At first it smells of rose and oud, powerful, a bit dirty yet also powdery and delicate… I liked it, though I thought ‘oh no, another one?’. But on my skin it fades in about 30 minutes without leaving any trace of rose in the heart or the base. What remains are warm, balsamic woods, a light vanilla (nothing pastry-like) and a carnal musk that isn’t animalic. Overall it’s well balanced, nothing stinging, easy to wear and 100% unisex for autumn and winter. Ideal for going out at night or staying in with a blanket… it’s seductive and cosy at the same time. It’s a lovely scent, different from what I’ve tried but similar to others in my collection, so I won’t buy it, although I enjoyed it.
