  I wanted to start the year by trying something new, so I chose Slowdive. It’s a hyper-realistic capture of raw honey, almost as if you’re about to eat it. Have you ever eaten a honeycomb like a bear? That’s exactly what it smells like: potent, waxy, and resinous. I only detect this one note. It doesn’t disgust me, but for me, it’s very natural and doesn’t feel like a fragrance for dressing up for special occasions. It lacked more complexity, even if it meant losing a bit of potency. It’s pretty and original, but I wouldn’t wear it on its own or buy the full bottle. It does work well mixed with white flowers to make them warmer and deeper. The trail and longevity are fantastic; it projects beautifully and lasts 10-12 hours. Scent 8/10, Longevity 9/10, Sillage 8/10, Value for money 5/10, Versatility 2/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy again? No.

  It smells of white flowers, plenty of honey, and neroli. The honey reminds me of Francesca Bianchi, but here it has much less potency and feels more natural and moderate, nothing gothic-elegant. It’s original and only comparable to that perfumer, though it clearly loses out on complexity and strength. I’d rate the originality within simplicity in these times. It suits any season and is unisex, ideal for celebrating spring for a week.

  The best honey perfume I know. It’s incredibly realistic without being overly sweet, unlike Zoologist’s Bee. It boasts an amazing white floral and resinous base. If you like realistic honey scents like Bee or Tobacco Honey, this is a must for your collection.
