I had a wonderful time with this; it started off super citrusy, like a lemon sorbet, before the sweet notes emerged, beautifully balanced. It’s a vanilla-infused coconut scent, which I believe features the tiare flower. If you’re a die-hard sweet lover, this is your spot—what a shame they’ve discontinued it.
So Hooked on Carmella is a dense, sweet bomb, pure gourmand. The tiare flower smells of coconut, while the raspberry adds a fruity touch; ultimately, it’s like a piña colada. Use it moderately in summer for a beach outing and it works well. The base is warm with amber, sandalwood, and I think a hint of caramel. The bottle and box stole my heart; they look like a little house where the perfume lives—what a brilliant idea! Anyway, I already want to get it back; the technique worked for me xD
