  • It’s sweet and spring-like, noticeable on my skin and it lasted well, though it lacks much opening or depth; perfect for everyday wear. Although the website says it’s different, to me it smells exactly like its predecessor ‘Sparkling Lights’, just with a different bottle; in essence, it’s the same. Perhaps my memory is failing because I owned the old one years ago, but it seems identical to me. What do other girls think?

  • This fragrance is sweet and spring-like; it lasts quite well (at least on my skin). It has absolutely no depth or olfactive opening, but it’s very pleasant for everyday wear. According to the description listed here, it’s different, but I, olfactorily, note it as identical to its predecessor ‘Sparkling Lights’, just with a slightly different bottle, but essentially it’s the same thing. Perhaps my olfactory memory is failing me since I had the old version a couple of years ago; I’d love to know what other girls think of this fragrance; to me, it seems exactly the same…

It’s identical to Lolita Lempicka; I love it, and the price is very good. It lasts more than 8 hours; the only con is that it comes with glitter.

  • Seeing the comments about its resemblance to Lolita Lempicka tempts me to try it. 👍🏻 I’m not a fan of those with glitter, but lately, they’re everywhere.

I ordered this fragrance thinking it was a dupe of Lolita Lempicka. To be honest, I don’t know how that one smells, but I was intrigued to get an idea. In the Avon catalogue recently, it’s defined as oriental gourmand (the reason I ordered it, as I love gourmands). However, I think it’s primarily an oriental perfume, with sandalwood at its peak. I consider it very sexy, bold, even esoteric. I doubt there’s a man who wouldn’t like it or find it attractive, as one could even say it smells somewhat masculine. Its trail is moderate, and its longevity is more than good for an economic catalogue perfume; I’ve worn it for over 10 hours and it’s still perceptible. Now that I’ve been using it for a while, I can say a major drawback is its applicator or the thick consistency, as when you spray it, it shoots directly anywhere except where you want, dirtying the container. This has never happened to me with other fragrances, and I’ve even resorted to applying it with my hands as the only alternative.

I had this perfume when it first launched, and my first impression was that it smelled different from anything I’d smelled before, which made it hard to describe, but I liked it precisely for that reason. You can detect the violet and sandalwood; but for some reason, I preferred it fresh out of the bottle rather than in its dry-down. At first, I felt it was more glamorous; that’s what came to mind. They say it’s very similar to Lolita Lempicka, in case you’re looking for a cheaper dupe. Anyway, I understand that Sparkling is already discontinued in Mexico, but there’s another very similar one in the Cyzone catalogue called Dancing Night, and fortunately, they haven’t discontinued it. The longevity and trail on me are moderate; I see it more for spring and autumn. Edit: I just bought Dancing Night since I didn’t know about it, but as soon as I smelled it, it automatically reminded me of Sparkling; they’re about 95% to 98% similar. The only difference I noticed is that Sparkling was more soapy, while Dancing Night is more powdery; otherwise, they smell the same. I think I liked Sparkling more because of that.

  • Donatellagrosso

I feel it’s a good dupe of Miss Dior EDP, like a ‘simplified’ version. I’d say it has the basic notes (fruity and sandalwood, with a bit of vanilla). Both are fruity and powdery.

I think it’s a good dupe of Miss Dior EDP, a ‘simplified’ version with the key notes: fruity, sandalwood, and a touch of vanilla. Both are fruity and powdery.

  • I have a huge soft spot for this fragrance; I wore it from ages 14 or 15 when it was called Sparkling Lights. Although they changed the bottle, the scent remained the same. It was my party perfume; all my friends remember it, and smelling it brings back memories of our nights out, which smelled like a ‘boliches’ as we say in Argentina 🖤 At 25, I still find it special. It’s very nocturnal, super original, with brutal sillage and projection, and a dreamy shine. I have not a single gripe with it. I’ll always keep it in my collection 🖤 Avon surprises with this raw diamond. PS: I never tried the old Lolita Lempicka, but it bears no resemblance to the current version.

  • I have a soft spot for this perfume; I started using it when I was 14 or 15. It was previously called Sparkling Lights and came in a different bottle; they changed it a few years later, but the fragrance has always been the same. • It’s truly different from everything else; it’s exquisite. It feels woody yet very youthful… let’s not even talk about the beauty of its simple, transparent bottle with lilac glitter; it doesn’t need anything else. It projects so much, and if you’re scared of glitter, it’s very delicate; once it dries, several sparkles fall off. I don’t know the designer perfumes it’s claimed to be a dupe of, so I can’t give more specifics, but it’s a great perfume, IT IS!

It’s truly different from everything else, exquisite. It feels quite woody but, despite that, very youthful… let alone the beauty in the simplicity of its bottle… nothing more, transparent with lilac glitter, it requires nothing else. It projects so much, and if you’re scared of glitter, it’s very delicate, and when the perfume dries, several sparkles vanish. I don’t know the designer perfumes it’s said to reference as a dupe, so I can’t give more specifics, but it’s a great perfume, IT IS!

  • Bought it as soon as it launched, but after using it a few times, I got a headache; it’s just too heavy. On my skin, the sandalwood is invasive and relentless, mixed with bitter citrus notes like grapefruit and the alcohol, it ends up smelling like mosquito repellent, specifically the Off Green plastic spray. It has nothing to do with Lolita Lempicka, I repeat, nothing at all.
