Powerful and addictive scent with a brutal trail, perfect for winter and evening wear. A mature, stylish gourmand that screams on my skin; I wouldn’t buy it as I already have a sample. It’s a sweet explosion that fades quickly, turning dry, boozy and leathery. It feels sober, warm and introspective, as if the cake in its name transforms into a perfumed sigh, though it’s far too potent for me. I barely detect the mimosa, but if you’re drawn to such scents, you’ll find it original and sexy. It certainly is. It has quality and is well-crafted, but to me it feels like a calming slap, yet underneath it becomes sharp. Not something to buy blindly. When it settles, it’s warm, and as I say, for those brave enough to try it.
Fireworks instantly on the skin! It’s a spectacular, intense, deep and very seductive fragrance. An explosion of spiced rum with nutmeg, melted brown sugar and mimosa over a sensual, animalic leather that’s addictive. Orange and juniper balance it so it’s not heavy, but makes me sigh during the 6 to 8 hours it lasts. I’m in love! It’s climbed into my top 10 of all time for the emotions it evokes. P.S. Try it on skin before buying – it’s different and unique.
