Smells like Prada L’Homme as if it were the very first ship to bring spices and flowers from the East to Europe. That magic is in almost everything this genius creates, and although Thichila isn’t his most famous work, it is the one that stole my heart and is now one of my favourites. It is a woody fragrance thanks to a Thai oud that takes charge of the composition: smoky, woody, seductive and magical. It is super complex and full of nuances, though it can be hard to distinguish the notes without knowing all the ingredients. What really stands out is that spicy floral accord, which smells of a potent aniseed jasmine, supported by civet that gives it a superb stature and a slight soapy touch. Thichila lasts all day, bringing the echoes of an incense burner in a Thai Buddhist temple where jasmine and anise are offered, all wrapped in a sensual carnality that overwhelms you. It is pure olfactory poetry.

Dancing under the moon, lost in that night of seduction. A tribute to dark shadows that opens with a rich, potent and intoxicating oud. At first, it is the king, dominating and drawing attention alongside the jasmine, champaca, gardenia and saffron; the magical potion takes shape until it becomes a love juice. For me, it is very good, although our minds look for reasonable similarities and this gives me a vibe reminiscent of Pardon, saving the distances but leaving a similar memory. Nevertheless, it should be tried because it is a personal perception: on my skin, Thichila is well worth it; it is a top fragrance. Enjoy, live well and take care.
