  • Top quality perfume. At first, it recalls a flash of Paco Rabanne’s 1 Million, but it’s noticeable that it’s something more complex, intricate, and sparkling. The middle notes arrive slowly with a floral bouquet buffered by the sweetness of the base, which embraces it elegantly. Then that appetising sweetness dominates, cinnamon-like and without exaggerations, with a touch of musky leather and a spectacular conjunction of amber, vanilla, tonka bean, and cinnamon. Exquisite and very well executed, although I recommend trying it first to avoid surprises. The longevity is surprising, over 10 hours on me, with moderate projection; beware of over-application.

  • Top quality perfume. At first, a flash that recalls Paco Rabanne’s 1 Million due to the opening notes, but it is more complex, fresh, and sparkling than that. The middle notes open up slowly, with a floral bouquet buffered by the sweetness of the base that embraces it elegantly, creating a sweet and floral aroma. Then the base sweetness dominates, but without being cloying; it is an appetising sweetness, cinnamon-like and without exaggerations, with a touch of musky leather. The great protagonist is the blend of amber, vanilla, tonka bean, and cinnamon. Exquisite. Very well executed and recommended, although better to try it first to avoid surprises. The longevity is surprising, over 10 hours on me, with moderate projection. Beware of over-applications, which could result in being excessive.

  • I agree with Darkbeat that TIGER’S EYE by BEJAR recalls Paco Rabanne’s 1 MILLION but without the strength and boldness of the latter. I would never categorise it as a floral chypre as the sheet says; I feel neither oakmoss, holm oak, heather, labdanum, nor fruity, floral, or aldehydic notes. This seems to be a leitmotif of mine, but let it be known that this is how I see it. I lean towards classifying it as a woody oriental family: cinnamon, rose, vanilla, orange blossom, tonka bean, amber, and patchouli predominate, though a citrus note of orange and bergamot slightly peeks through, giving clarity within the warmth and gentleness. The trail is moderate and the longevity high, with very standout performance and value for money. The dry-down is of great beauty, combining simplicity with depth and sensuality with mysticism. The bottle has a classic design with wood shavings at the bottom, an exotic and original look, with an artisanal niche air. I don’t know if the name OJO DE TIGRE has a relation to the semi-precious stone, talisman for travellers and cleansing of the organism. I found it intricate to discern between Ramón Béjar and Ramón Molvizar; on some websites they appear to be the same entity and on others they don’t. On Fragantica it reads that Molvizar collaborates with Béjar, but in another source I read that Béjar was born in Molvizar, moved to Barcelona, and founded his company for real characters from countries like Saudi Arabia. He created a luxury line combining his name with that of the town. I’m still confused: on one hand it has niche with gold (the Gold Collection line at 300 euros) and on the other perfumes like PASSIONATE, TIGER’S EYE, WELLNESS, LAPISLAZULI, QUEEN SECRET, etc., at affordable prices. In short, marketing things that escape my understanding. SCENT: I like it very much, high rating, especially in dry-down / TRAIL: medium / LONGEVITY: medium-high / PERFORMANCE: very acceptable / USE: at any time due to its versatility.

  • Thanks to Darkbeat for your reviews, thanks to you I got this first bottle: a soft but super rich scent. I don’t know much more as I’ve just tried it, so I’ll keep you posted. But one thing is clear, the smell is a marvel, haha.

  • Taking advantage of Josesan’s review to talk about this Tiger’s Eye, which I tried thanks to a sample from Darkbeat and I really liked. I’ll give a heads-up that it’s a clone of One Million, quite a good one. I believe anything from Béjar’s budget line is worth it; mostly they are replicas, but with that touch of honesty and ‘well-made’ quality that sets them apart from pharmacy bottles. Within my One Million spiral, the one I liked most is Halloween Man, where an elegant rose slides over the abstract background that Paco Rabanne first formulated in Ultrared. The scent of Tiger’s Eye is more delicate and porous than its reference, perhaps richer because it doesn’t abuse spices and prefers a soft, creamy texture. It is persistent and well-behaved; if you have it close, your hand almost goes to the bottle without thinking. It’s not for the fastidious, but from its humble position and ridiculous price, it could make a place in the heart of any enthusiast.

I tried this before encountering 1 Million and it just didn’t appeal to me. I picked it up at an Equivalenza store; out of the entire Vibrational range, this was the one that convinced me the most, but ultimately the blend of notes left me with a sweet-bitter aftertaste I couldn’t stand, so I gifted it away. Curiously, people say it smells like 1 Million (which I also don’t like), so unknowingly, I was already an anti-1M before it even hit the shelves. The Vibrational range is dedicated to stones and minerals with mystical properties: this is Tiger’s Eye, a talisman for travellers and bodily cleansing; there’s also Onyx (protection), Amethyst (calm and relief), Lapis Lazuli (nobility and luck), Rose Quartz (unconditional love), and Pure Quartz (energy and clarity). Its low price might be because it was delisted for the Middle East and the surplus was sold cheaply. In general, they are far from the European taste; the clientele for Béjar/Ramón Molvizar is high society from the Middle East, and they tend to favour heavy perfumes or strange combinations. The truth is, given the price, as with this exquisite bottle featuring floating minerals, you can try them without regrets, as they are niche perfumes (some contain gold and cost 1,000 euros). The longevity is very good. Au revoir!

I had it before knowing what 1 Million was and I didn’t like it. I bought it at Equivalenza; out of all the unisex/men’s perfumes in the Vibrational range, this was the one that convinced me the most, but in the end it didn’t quite suit me; the mix of notes left me with a sweet/bitter aftertaste and I couldn’t cope with it, so I gifted it away. They say it reminds of 1 Million (which I also don’t like), so unknowingly I was already an anti-1M before it appeared in perfumeries. The Vibrational range is dedicated to stones/minerals with mystical properties: Tiger’s Eye (talisman for travellers and cleansing of the organism), Onyx (mental, spiritual, and physical protection), Amethyst (protective, blocks bad energies and relieves pain), Lapis Lazuli (nobility, strength, luck, sacred in Egypt), Rose Quartz (unconditional love and peace, channels healing), and Rock Crystal (amplifies energy, blocks the negative, mental clarity). Its low price might be because it was delisted for the Middle East and the surplus was left at a bargain price. In general, they are far from European tastes; the clientele for Béjar/Ramón Molvizar is high society from the Middle East and they tend to favour heavy perfumes or strange combinations. The truth is, given the price they have, some like this Tigger’s Eye (exquisite bottle and concept, with floating stones), can be tried without regrets if you don’t like them, as they are niche (some contain gold and cost 1,000 euros). The longevity is very good. Au revoir.
