  I picked this up for that marzipan note, as the database previously only listed the smaller bottle with heliotrope; perhaps they’ve changed the design and notes, I’m not sure. But marzipan and heliotrope… especially almond! Come and get it! Smelling it reminded me of three fragrances: the reformulation of Hypnotic Poison, Kenzo Amour, and Sicily by D&G (that soapy sensation). Sometimes it leans closer to one than the other, and at other times it seems they’ve blended all those perfumes into one bottle, yet it remains uniquely itself. It’s vanilla-based, slightly almond-y, with a potent dose of powder; despite this, I believe it can be worn in spring/summer too if applied moderately, as, on my skin at least, it has immense longevity and sillage. Recently I realised it’s now hard to find; I wonder if it’s been discontinued… snif.
