What a delight – a super feminine, delicate and elegant woody floral. It has that powdery, sweet little touch that simply wins me over.

What a delicious perfume; it is such a feminine, delicate, elegant and subtle woody floral, slightly powdery and sweet. I love it.

It’s a satin-smooth, sleek and soft scent, yet bright and a true delight for the nose. Heliotrope, vanilla, pink pepper and gardenia stand out on my skin. At first it’s floral, innocent and powdery, then a perfect sandalwood base emerges. I’d rate it as a powdery, vanilla-infused woody floral without being heavy. It lives up to its name: bright and smooth as satin. The trail is moderate and the longevity exceeds my expectations. Ideal for everyday wear, fresh mornings or for winding down in winter. A little gem that’s staying in my collection; I’d even like to have a refill.

I bought it blind, trusting the reviews and expecting much. It’s a sweetness that’s almost cloying but worth trying. The initial impression is pleasant and subtle, though it stays there. I’m not sure if it’s short-lived or so light it forgets it’s there. It doesn’t project, doesn’t linger and doesn’t call attention. Not even for sleeping, dear. It sits on my shelf and disappoints me again. For those who aren’t fans of subtlety, don’t bother; it’s almost frustrating. *Update*: indeed, it’s pleasant for sleeping. Now that summer has arrived, it feels different; I was surprised to find the scent still noticeable after washing my pyjamas.

I bought it blind online, valuing your reviews greatly, and couldn’t find a tester anywhere, not even at El Corte Inglés. Too spicy for my taste at first; I love the vanilla and it blends well with the heliotrope, but both the patchouli and the pink pepper don’t suit me. In the end, when I like it most, it fades quickly after three hours. We’re just getting to know each other; I don’t know if it will be a slow-burn love. For now, it’s been with me for a few days.

Simply gorgeous for almost every sense. You are an elegant pink-pepper floral bonbon that smells of bergamot, jasmine and gardenia, caramelised by exquisite vanilla. Born in a green and violet forest of patchouli and heliotrope, traversed by paths of tonka beans. Satine: you are a patchouli-gourmand in full evening dress, with Prada lips and perfumed candies instead of words. You’ve brushed your hair with a comb that stole the wind from the gardens of Shalimar, offering a breeze of flowers and pink pepper. You’ve cuddled under a stole of sweet rose, like cotton candy, and dressed only in the wings of a light angel that caresses you with soft patchouli feathers. Satine: you are all this and more, or less. Because sometimes less is more. And you, all alone, are a deity.

A very soft luxury perfume. Satine is exactly as its name suggests: soft as satin fabric in lingerie and underwear. Its colour is pink, though it contains no rose. It features jasmine, heliotrope, gardenia, vanilla, pink pepper, sandalwood, vetiver and patchouli. On my skin, the heliotrope, gardenia and vanilla stand out. It’s a very sweet and delicate fragrance. The pink pepper adds a bit of character along with the patchouli, but it’s not strong, nor is the sandalwood. All the notes are soft, like clouds of steam and body or face powder. I love this glass bottle in my favourite colour. It’s one of the perfumes that adorns my dressing table in the bedroom. I recommend it to women who prefer soft, simple, sweet scents with a seductive edge. As I’m a vedette, I find it perfect for wearing before a show. I simply adore this Satine.

A blind buy, thinking it would be similar to Le Parfum but less bold; what it actually reminds me of is Jungle L’Elephant, softer and more wearable. Brilliant. I love L’Elephant but only wear it at home or for sleeping; it seems too strong for going out. This one I can wear all day. Hello and happy 2016 to everyone. New review: wearing one on each wrist means they’re not quite as similar anymore. Although Satine does have something in common, it’s much less spicy and gourmand than L’Elephant. The truth is, I like it very much, just as I do with every Lalique perfume I’ve tried so far.

It was a blind buy, thinking it would be similar to Le Parfum but less imposing; what it actually reminds me of is Jungle L’Elephant, softer and more wearable than this one. Brilliant! I love L’Elephant but only wear it at home or for sleeping, as it seems too strong and marked for wearing out among people. This one I can wear all day. Hello and Happy 2016 to everyone. A lovely scent. At first the tonka bean, then the vanilla. What lingers the longest is the vanilla with patchouli. In my opinion, it’s the light version of Le Parfum, which is another delight.

Very lovely scent. At first, the tonka bean is noticeable, followed by the vanilla. What lingers is that vanilla with patchouli. To me, it seems like the light version of Le Parfum, which is also a delight.

Editing and deleting my previous message where I said it reminded me of Lolita L; I don’t know why it felt so familiar the first time. Now, in the evening, calm and freshly showered, I’ve given it another chance and it has changed completely; I can clearly smell the gardenia, tonka bean and vanilla, along with a very soft patchouli. In short, a perfume I like very much. Sometimes you have to give things several chances, and this time it was right to do so; I’m glad I bought it.

I’ll correct my previous comment where I said it reminded me of Lolita L; I don’t know why it sounded so familiar at the start. Now, in a quiet evening and freshly showered, I’ve given it another chance and it has changed completely; now I smell the gardenia, tonka bean and vanilla alongside a very soft patchouli. In short, a perfume I absolutely love. Sometimes you have to give things several chances, and this time I got it right, I’m glad I bought it 🙂

Simply delicious. I tried it and was given a sample; it smells incredible. I can’t describe it, I haven’t smelled anything like it, but I loved it and want it. The only downside is the very high price.
