Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
One of my most flattering perfumes and one I truly love… as it’s a limited edition, when I bought it and fell in love with it, I went out a week later to get a backup… I finished the first one and opened the second… and then I knew I had to secure a third before it disappeared from the shelves, what a good decision! One of the most flattering scents for men (not really for women, to be honest; in my case, the most flattering for women is LVEB, which I’ve smelled so much everywhere I’ve stopped using it entirely). As of today (2024), I know it’s almost impossible to smell the same as someone else with Satine since it was a limited edition… the only positive I find about it being limited is that it’s so good it should be part of the permanent line!

This is undoubtedly one of my favourite perfumes. It maintains the DNA of the classic Armani Code but is much sexier. At first, you can quite detect the ginger and sorbet, but after a few minutes (and right up to the end) on my skin, the cocoa and orange blossom notes really stand out, with a longevity of up to 10 hours and good projection for the first four hours; afterwards it becomes moderate, but it certainly makes an impression. For me, it has the best chocolate note I’ve ever experienced, and while I own several fragrances with this note, this is my favourite. I think it maintains an excellent balance, as it’s neither the typical sweet chocolate nor bitter, but perfectly combined with the rest of the notes. I recommend it for those who like sexy fragrances and receive compliments from both men and women, because it has a unisex touch. In fact, it resembles the Armani Code Profumo version in its dry-down, but this is more delicate and feminine. I love it and would definitely repurchase.

Personally, I absolutely dislike the original Armani Code… by chance I was walking past a perfumerie and they asked me to try this one, and I fell in love instantly… and every day I fall in love with it more… it’s very particular; it retains the DNA of the Code but is gourmand without being cloying, elegant and versatile. I’ve received many compliments wearing this perfume and people have asked me what I’m wearing. I recommend it wholeheartedly because it is distinguished and not such a typical scent. Excellent longevity, moderate to high sillage… it’s worth the price!
I actually don’t like the original Armani Code at all… but I happened to walk past a perfumerie and they made me try this one. I fell in love instantly, and that was just the beginning… I’m still falling for it more every day. It’s very particular; it retains the DNA of the Code but is gourmand without being cloying. It’s elegant and versatile. I’ve received many compliments and people have asked what I’m wearing. I recommend it wholeheartedly because it’s distinguished and not such a typical aroma. The longevity is excellent, and the sillage is moderate to high. It’s worth the price!
I LOVED HOW IT SAT ON MY SKIN, EVEN THOUGH I DIDN’T EVEN TRY IT FIRST. IT’S THE IDEAL FRAGRANCE FOR COLD DAYS. AT FIRST IT HAS NOTES SIMILAR TO THE CLASSIC ARMANI CODE, BUT AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE PRALINE AND VANILLA NOTES BEGIN TO STAND OUT……DELICIOUS AND ELEGANT AT THE SAME TIME. I’VE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS WHEN WEARING THIS FRAGRANCE!

At first, it has notes similar to the classic Armani Code, but after a few minutes, the praline and vanilla really start to shine through… delicious and elegant all at once. I’ve received so many compliments when wearing this scent!
When I saw it in the shop I rushed to try it on, but it didn’t meet my expectations. The praline and cocoa notes are very prominent; to be honest, it’s not pleasant at all, too heavy. It might work for a very, very cold winter night, but I simply can’t stand it; it smells like insect repellent.
