Vampir, by Transilvania Parfums Gothiques, is an olfactory creation from the spicy woody family, designed for men and women. This new fragrance, launched in 2025, has been signed by nose Angel Resendiz. Its olfactory pyramid unfolds with earthy top notes, a vapour and wet stone accord; the heart reveals an enveloping atmosphere of smoke, birch, benzoin, suede and musk; while the base anchors the composition with skin, benzoin and musk.

If I had to describe it in one word, it would be ‘Different’. It’s a chilling fragrance, like holding an ice-cold stone in your hand with cold black leather deep in the background, all set against a damp atmosphere of wet earth and distant smoke. The presentation is top-notch, better than famous brands and at a low price. The longevity is short, around six hours on skin, but it’s not meant to be loud; from the first minute it’s personal. I love that it answers the question ‘What would a vampire smell like?’; it’s an unconventional composition that, given the price and the fact it’s from a Mexican house, is incredible.
