  I’ve been wearing it since I was 14 up to 31, and it hurts that VS discontinued it for Bare Vanilla, which doesn’t smell anything like it. I still have a bottle that’s 95% full for special occasions, when I want to smell like a mantecada and relax. It was simple and sweet; people said it smelled like cookies, once someone told me it smelled like chocolate chips. Edit: Indult de Tihota is a great dupe, though very expensive.

  I’ve loved it since I first tried it and never stop buying it. That pure vanilla scent is fantastic, delicious, and lasts a long time on the skin. It smells gourmet, literally like vanilla cookies with cream, absolutely delicious!

  I don’t buy or use much body mist because they don’t last long (and for the quality), but this is one of the only three I own. If you like sweet scents, here is the perfect VS combo: Vanilla Lace, Coconut Passion, and Amber Romance. I repeat, you must like sweet things. In my experience, these are the only ones that last beyond the moment of application. Here are my three reviews: Vanilla Lace is pure vanilla, the common thread between the other two, a staple without any talcum powder smell. Coconut Passion is creamy coconut sweetened by vanilla, sweeter than tropical and warm. Amber Romance is sweet and sugary, softened by vanilla, less milky and cleaner. Sweet and relaxing.

  My favourite fragrance of all time! It’s the richest vanilla I’ve found in perfumes. When you use it with the shower gel, cream and lotion, the scent lasts all day. I hope they bring it back soon; for my taste, it’s the best Victoria’s Secret scent.

  A friend gave it to us because we both have a weakness for vanilla notes. This body mist smells like vanilla without hesitation. I don’t think it’s cloying or sugary, but it is sweet, very sweet as one would expect. Personally, it’s not a fragrance for going out because, although I like vanilla, I find it lacks personality and unappealing unless it’s more elaborate. Until now, I wore it at home or before bed, but recently I’ve been using it with layering fresh fragrances like Gypsy Water (someone is surely going to kill me) and listen… I love it. So as an auxiliary fragrance, I’m getting much more out of Vanilla Lace.

  It smells nice but it is too intense; you don’t notice it in the bottle, which is why I bought it, but then I couldn’t stand using it, even getting in the car and feeling dizzy.

  This bodysplash… I am a fan of sweet scents (and extremely sweet ones), however, there is a limit that breaks the desire and that is: Vanilla Lace. It is an intense vanilla scent, nothing else is felt. The truth is, I used to wear it daily to go to school back then, however, I got tired of it and it’s curious because, generally, I’m not one to overdo these scents as I like them, but this was too much. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you like vanilla and extremely (x10) sweet.

  Perfumes are like living beings that change with the weather and your skin; this body mist is no exception. As I adore vanilla, I loved it. On me, it smells of creamy, sweet vanilla with a white musk that softens it after twelve hours. On a friend, it smells of sweet biscuit, but on my skin it is less sweet. If you like vanilla, try it: if it suits you, you’ll have a delicious vanilla scent at a ridiculous price.

  I love vanilla and bought this VS body mist without smelling it, trusting it would be safe. It was a mistake: the musk completely masks the vanilla and it is hard to notice. I thought it would be sweet, but it smells more oriental as the description says.

  Honestly, it smells of artificial chocolate toffee and nothing appetising. It leaves that toffee scent, but not the rich chocolate like the Fantasy by Britney Spears. It is neither good nor bad. The trail lasts hours but the sillage is minimal and neutral, not very feminine.

  The next one is from the body mist: I bought it because I was obsessed with vanilla, although at that time of compulsive shopping I wasn’t using anything. Two years passed and I noticed a lot of alcohol, so I used it in the bathroom to finish it off. Every time I used it, people said it smelled lovely, sweet, like an Oreo biscuit. My boyfriend was amazed, saying it smelled like a bonbon and wouldn’t stop asking what perfume it was, while I thought it was just a vanilla body mist. Now he always says it smells like a vanilla biscuit. For a body mist, it has great sillage and longevity. I hope to buy the gel and cream soon.

  I love it; it is my favourite for autumn and winter. On me it does not smell cloying and the musk lasts longer than the vanilla. Simply delicious. I have the body mist and the cream and they last all day. People always ask what perfume I am wearing and say I smell like chocolate or sweet. I love it and it is not expensive; it costs ten dollars and lasts all year using it daily.

  A work colleague let me try it and I loved it! It smells of pure vanilla, maybe a bit strong for some, but not for me. It has great longevity; despite applying only a little to my arm to test it, by 4 pm it still smells, even though I applied it around 8 am.
