Descripción
Via Cavour I by Xerjoff is an oriental vanilla fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2017, this composition is signed by perfumer Chris Maurice. In its opening, the scent unfolds with quince and white peach top notes. The heart reveals a blend of dark chocolate, red berries, Moroccan rose, rose, and patchouli. To finish, the base notes evoke a caramel accord, Madagascar vanilla, oud wood, amber, cashmere, and musk.

What a delight! Since I opened it, it gives me goosebumps. It’s totally worth it. The box is gorgeous. It’s unisex, with an enormous trail and eternal longevity. An amber note dominates, boosted by oud, with a typical animal touch from Xerjoff. I sense the sweetness of quince and peach, seductive and velvety. The chocolate, caramel, and berries make it sweet without being gourmand. I don’t detect rose, vanilla, or musk, but there is a high-quality patchouli. It enters my top 10. Delicious and unique, but I don’t recommend buying it blind.
An exquisite perfume; very sweet and gourmand. I see it as unisex, though more feminine, but a man could wear it too and I liked it. It was a blind buy and I have no regrets, although I think the best is to try it before buying; women love it.
Beauty bought blind.
Sexy but volatile. Sweet but volatile. Pretty but volatile. Some don’t understand that a high price is synonymous with longevity. And longevity is what justifies the price. The rest is unfair.
It smells very fruity and a little ‘drunken’, with notes of dark chocolate. Sometimes the fruit seems ripe to the limit, almost overripe, but it’s the fusion of everything. On my skin, the chocolate wins out against the oud. The rose reminds me of Boadicea’s Gracious. It shines more in the cold and its longevity is spot on: 7-8 hours. The trail is wide at first. It varies depending on the weather or skin pH, so try before you buy. I bought the 15ml first, then the 50ml. I think it’s unisex, but it leans towards feminine. I enjoy it immensely and it’s staying in my collection.
It might sound feminine with that patchouli and chocolate, but it’s an olfactory fantasy. And the best thing about Xerjoff is that, at least, people will notice you.
